2 fl1e l ntlllt..1 INTRODUCTION The Lay-in I Lay-on System is one of the most simplified and economical system in its range. This system is a modular ceiling available in flat and recessed tiles offering various designs, distinctive in being highly accessible. It is specially designed to be installed in locations where there is regular need for maintenance such as supermarkets, computer suites, classrooms, kitchen, hospitals, offices and other commercial areas. The panel can be separately dismantled to guarantee total accessibility to interspaces and to allow easy integration of lighting solutions. The product has a range of square and rectangular panels installed on a full accessible system supported by 15mm/24mm/Grooved Exposed Tee Grids. PRODUCT Panel Thickness to 2.0mm Surface Finish - Plain I Perforated I Decorative Face Patterns Panel Depths- 8/ lommm or flush with the grids, panels with custom depths can be fabricated upon order. Panel Edge - Square Edge Raw Material - Aluminium Alloy as per EN A W 3000 or 5000 series I Zinc plated galvanized steel or stainless steel (Brush/Mirror) as per ASTM A653-0l Suspension Panel Sizes - Metric (mm) Panel Sizes -Imperial (Feet) 300x x x x x1200 1ftx1ft 1ftx2ft 1ftx4ft 2ftx2ft 2ftx4ft T24 T 15 GT 15 4ftx4ft ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATION Acoustics and Insulation An acoustic black felt non woven, non flammable, sound absorbing layer of 0.20mm thick is laid to the back of the panel. Additionally Rock-wool insulation of thickness 25-40mm and density kg/m3 is laid on top of the acoustic felt in order to achieve Noise Reduction Rating (NRC) between in accordance with BS EN ISO 354:2003 with minimum 18% open area. Coating The panel will be polyester stove enameled or electro-statically polyester powder coated (thickness microns) to any RAL color as per architect's choice. The painted finish is salt spray tested for 1000 hours corrosion protection as per ASTM B Anti-Bacterial finish as per JIS Z 2801:2000 can be made available upon request. Fire Classification "Non-Combustible" material tested in accordance to BS 476: Part 4: Flame Spread Index value 5 and Smoke Development value 20 as per ASTM E84 (Class 1 or A). Light Reflection Light reflection coefficient (LR) 0.85 tested in accordance to ASTM E INSTALLATION Take site measurements of the area to receive the Nortile Lay-In/Lay-On panels. Mark on all wall (A,B,C,D) the given ceiling level from the finished floor level (call it level line 1 ). Mark at the walls level line the center point of every wall. Divide and mark at 1200mm to indicate the location of the Main Carrier. Insert the anchors in the ceiling slab at a location of 300mm from the walls and in a span of 1200mm. Hang down from the anchors the wire hangers with the adjustment clips. Install the wall trim at level line lat all walls. Fix the primary Cross T 1200mm to the Main Carrier at 600mm intervals. Fix the Secondary Cross T 600mm to the Primary Cross T 1200mm. Simply lay-in the Nortile LT panels to the carriers. HOW TO ACCESS Tiles can be lifted out of the ceiling system to gain access to the ceiling void.

5 SUSPENSION SYSTEM 1 Main Carrier T15ff24: 0.4mm galvanized steel with 0.3mm aluminium capping. (Tl5/T24) 7 LEdge Trim: Perimeter trim O.Smm steel stove enameled edging at right angles to the panels, finish to match the panels. 2 Primary Cross Tee 1200: 0.4mm galvanized steel with 0.3mm aluminium capping. (Tl5/T24) 8 L Edge Trim with Lock: Perimeter trim with locking system, O.Smm steel stove enameled edging at right angles to the panels, finish to match the panels. 3 Secondary Cross Tee 600: 0.4mm galvanized steel with 0.3mm aluminium capping. (Tl5/T24) 9 WEdge Trim: "W" shaped edge trim of size 20x20x20x20mm fixed to form a shadow groove between the wall and the ceiling. 4 GT15 Main Carrier: 0.4mm glavanized steel main earner with black or white groove. Length mm 10 WEdge Trim with Lock: "W" shaped edge trim of size 20x25x25x20mm fixed to form a shadow groove between the wall and the ceiling. 5 GT15 Primary Cross Tee 1200: 0.4mm glavanized steel primary cross tee with black or white groove.
