27 3 Complaint and Incident report 3.1 Complaints Summary & Time 18 April, 2010 Name of Complainant Residents of Dun Brin Gardens, FortbarringtonRoad, Athy, Co Kildare Nature of Complaint Noise Response to Complainant Got noise inspection to quantify noise and commissioned noise reduction box for offending equipment. Response Noise is no longer detectable at original site. Closed (Y/N) Y 3.2 Reported Incidents Summary There were no incidents reported in Infrastructural Assessments and Programme of Improvements 4.1 Treatment capacity Hydraulic Treatment Capacity The hydraulic capacity of the WWTP is 3950 m 3 per day. The hydraulic load in 2010 was found to be 4,718 or 119% of design. Organic Treatment Capacity The organic treatment capacity of the WWTP is 15,000 p.e. The population equivalent loading at the WWTP in 2010 was approximately 12,631 or 84% of design. 4.2 Storm water overflow identification and inspection report This report is currently not available. 4.3 Report on progress made and proposals being developed to meet the improvement programme requirements This report is currently not available. 26 of 28

28 5 Environmental liability and Financial Provisions 5.1 Annual statement on prevention of environmental damage There were no additional measures adopted or taken during the reporting to prevent environmental damage. There are currently no financial provisions in place to underwrite the costs of remedial actions. 6.1 Assessment of predicted impacts on habitats This assessment was submitted in June Development/ infrastructural works summary Monitoring of discharge frequency and volume from storm water holding tank at WWTP Monitoring of the discharge frequency and volume from the storm water holding tank at the WWTP is in place and operational Waste water sewer network rehabilitation East (Stage 1) Stage 1 of the network rehabilitation is now complete Waste water sewer network rehabilitation West (Stage 2) Stage 2 of the network rehabilitation has not commenced, there is currently no time frame for commencement of this work. 6.3 Toxicity Report The toxicity report is attached in Appendix Environmental Liabilities Risk Assessment (ELRA) This assessment is currently not available. 27 of 28
