3 How we work Today, 85 per cent of the world s energy consumption comes from fossil fuels. With climate change, depletion of natural resources and the market price reduction, coal concession owners are looking to utilise the coal at source and hence convert into energy via power plant solutions, which are both sustainable and energy efficient. Power Consultants Indonesia (PCI) offers a multidisciplinary approach to thermal power generation and distribution projects. Our experience spans the complete range of skills needed to take a project from concept through to commercial operation, inclusive of operations and maintenance. QA/QC Quality control inspection is vital throughout any project. We bring extensive experience to this all-important aspect of every contract. Transmission & Distribution PCI can help to control the large number of contracts on complex and demanding projects and provide an independent voice that represents the owner. 10 PCI s engineering staff has designed hundreds of kilometres of overhead transmission lines for a variety of energy clients including private investors, public utilities, municipalities and rural cooperatives. Our T&D project design execution utilizes the latest in technical tools together with computer automated programs for the generation of conductor and line design, structure modelling and spotting and detailed drawing development. Due Diligence PCI has completed many due diligence reviews and knows what to look for when evaluating the purchase of an existing power asset.
