12 Innovation Norway is Fund Operator for 3 programmes in Romania (Responsible from A to Z) 1. RO Innovation «SMEs Growth Romania» (Business Development, Innovation and SMEs); 2. RO Energy (Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Security); 3. Decent Work and Tripartite Dialogue;.

13 RO Innovation SMEs Growth Romania Objective: Increased value creation and sustainable growth Budget: EUR 45 mill. Eligible applicants: private sector enterprises in Romania, SMEs priority, NGO s with economic activities; Focus areas: Green Industry Innovation (50% of the funds), ICT and Blue Growth Status: Programme approved , First call planned to be launched February 2018.

14 Eligible activities Green Industry Innovation Financial support to Romanian enterprises to develop, apply or commercialise: innovative green technologies; sustainable business development; greening of existing businesses; development of innovative products and services Expected result of support: Decreased CO2 emissions; Better utilisation of materials and resources: Decreased generation of waste, less consumption of water, energy, fuel etc; Increased collection of waste from operational processes for re use or recycling; Re use of waste for other operational processes; Job creation and Competence building.

15 Eligible activities ICT and Blue Growth Financial support to Romanian enterprises to develop, apply or commercialise: ICT Information and Communication Technology product, process or service development using ICT component; development of ICT products or services for digitalisation for all economic sectors (games, apps most probably excluded). Blue Growth marin, maritime, coastal tourism development of innovative technologies, processes, solutions, products or services based on blue resources from the Black Sea, inland waters or rivers and coastal areas. (Investment in marin/aqua culture/fishing sector excluded.)
