2 Introduction Algae TURF Scrubber is a water filtration device which uses light to grow algae. In this process, undesirable chemicals are removed from the water. Algae is growing by the Red and Blue light, and algae will remove toxic substance like NH4, NO3 and etc in your salty aquarium tank. Marine Magic Algae TURF Scrubber, MM-ALGAE-02 is a Waterfall type design. We use 2 set of LED module and each of it contains12 pcs 1W high power Blue and Red LED light to facilitate the growth of algae. The filtration capability of MM-ALGAE-02 is 4 times than the MM-ALAGE-01. (Tank mounted) Our Product Features: 1. This is a waterfall design. The device is made of extra fine and thick acrylic. 2. With 24 pcs 1 watts high power LED to simulate the Red and Blue wavelength which are favourable for algae growth. (11 pcs RED LED at 660 nm and 1 pcs of BLUE LED at 450nm) 3. Nylon rough texture mesh. Removable design, very easy to use and clean. 4. Separate LED module design. With extra large aluminium heat sink to dissipate heating. Principal The size of your tank does not matter. This item could be able to handle below food per day and keep the algae filter that ½ frozen cube per day, or 5 pinches of flake food per day, or 5 sq. inches of nori per day, or 0.05 dry ounce of pellet food per day 2

Setting up 1. There is 2 holes on the device.

The other one is at a lower position which is the water outflow

3 Setting up 1. There is 2 holes on the device. One is at the top position which is the water inflow hole. The other one is at a lower position which is the water outflow hole. Installing the plastic connector of the water inflow hole as below picture. The air line need to go through the plastic connector first below you screw up the locking cap on it. 2. There are small hole on the water dispenser tube. Please make sure the hole are positioned horizontally so that the water could dispense on the 2 algae growing net. 3

4 3. Installing the plastic connector on the water outflow hole as below picture. The ariline need to go throught the plastic connector first below you screw up the locking cap on it. 4. Put the 2 growing net and LED modules on the unit. Put the lid on the unit. 5. Connect the LED plug to the power adaptor. 6. Installation completed. 4

5 Remarks: To achieve a better growing of the algae, this is reccommeded to supplying the blue and red light for 16 hours everyday only. In an other words, It needs to left about 8 hours of the device without lighting supply. MM-ALAGE-02 is not built with internal timer control. So, you might need to consider to have you timer on it. You could consider to buy the external timer, below is what the timer we source in the market. You could buy it via our website. The position of MM-ALAGE-02 device MM-ALGAE-02 is a waterfall design algae skimmer. It use the water potential level difference to make the water flow in the unit. Therefore, you need to put the device under the water level of your aquarium salty tank. Also, you need to have the lower tank to collect the water outflow.
