7 Galaxie Separation Spiral Separation Oil flows centripetally inwards and move upwards, Solids are pressed to outer baffle wall and move downwards Oil Recovery Collected oil flows into the oil trap and will be pressed out Advantages Short retention time, oil stays flowable Compact separator surface and low degasification Efficiency TPH e.g mg/l inlet/ 20 mg/l outlet No chemicals, no coalescence materials, no energy

9 Affinity Separation Upriser-Cone Liquid flows up guided by a cone just beneath the water surface Steady oil layer on surface traps upcoming oil Process is supported by micro bubbles Full Stream Gas Saturation Micro bubbles are produced by dissolving pressurised (2 3 bar) gas (e.g. air, nitrogen) and rapid depressurization in a pressure gage The introduced gas affects the molecular structure of the liquid (Nano-Effect) Advantages Eliminates free oil, temporary emulsions Small footprint with low maintenance costs Efficiency TPH e.g. 50 mg/l inlet/ 3 mg/l outlet No chemicals

11 ADF Flotation Physical/ Chemical Process All particles will be forced to the surface by micro bubbles Sludge will be scraped from the surface automatically Full Stream Gas Saturation Micro bubbles will be produced by dissolving air by high pressure (4 6 bar) and rapid depressurization in a pressure gauge The air saturation of the water generates oxidizing effects (Nano-Saturation) High efficiency because of special plate configuration in the pressure vessel Advantages High reduction efficiency on emulsions, suspended solids and metals due to the strong oxidization of the Nano effect 100% micro bubbles, because of full stream saturation awas ADF - Flotation
