8 THE PARTICIPANTS: Nearly 200 young budding YOUTHinkgreen climate ambassadors and their group leaders from Egypt, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Germany, India, Italy, Namibia, Peru and Turkey. AIMS: To build up common knowledge and shared experience; to get to know each other; to exchange information; to talk to representatives from civil society, science, and the economy; to develop local sustainability projects further; to design practical sustainable mobility solutions; to link up via our website ( in short: to lay the foundations for a global climate action network! KEY AREAS OF DISCUSSION: Global climate change and its consequences; international climate and environmental policy; sustainable development; sustainable use of energy and natural resources; Sustainable mobility is a further crucial topic; The young delegates will acquire a thorough and practical insight into the work of Europe s largest car manufacturer, Volkswagen AG; They will engage the company in critical and constructive dialogue. TYPES OF SESSION: Expert presentations (followed by questions, discussion, and group work sessions with the speakers to allow the topic to be explored further); round table discussions and panel sessions; workshop panels on project management, press and public relations, and blogging; scriptwriting sessions for creating sustainability ads.
