36 The cost of sustainability Sustainable products and processes will lead to a Minimization of the use of resources! Minimization of energy consumption! Minimization of air & water pollution! Minimization of solid waste products!

37 The cost of sustainability Sustainable products and processes will lead to a Reduction of direct costs (material & energy)! Reduction of indirect cost like insurance costs! Reduction, or at least less increasing of taxes!

38 Conclusion We are facing major challenges globally. Resource consumption will be accelerating dramatically in the coming decades. Innovative products and processes will be vital to all efforts to achieve sustainable consumption. Increase in efficiency. More with less! A little bit less consumption?

39 Conclusion Adhesives and adhesive tapes play a major role in the development of more sustainable products and processes. Adhesives and adhesive tapes enables more sustainable solutions! Modern adhesive formulations are less harmful to worker, consumer and the environment. Modern adhesive and adhesive tape application techniques reduce the quantity of adhesives needed, reduce environmental impact and waste.
