3 is the largest municipal refuse collection service provider in the EU in an area of 892 km² (larger than Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart combined) live approx. 3.4 million inhabitants and each year produce about 80,000 tons of street waste... in approx. 2 million homes (450,000 distributed waste containers)... (and approx. 160,000 dogs) and approx. 1.2 million tons of urban waste walk and drive on approx. 136 km² of public space (such as streets, airports) (with an increasing number of tourists (aprox. 27 million overnight stays and about 11.3 million tourists per year)... approx. 438,000 trees (> m3 of leaves) 5
