Not included in the plots) Full data of: Country, steam capacity, electrical capacity and main fuel The data have been provided by the boiler manufacturers Alstom, Andritz, BW Volund, Foster Wheeler and Valmet, including the former Metso/Kvärner. 11 12/15/216 CONCLUSIONS The capacity of has grown strongly in China and in other Asian countries related to coal combustion. The size of boilers is reaching utility scale. In Europe is mostly employed for power production from coal in Poland and some are built in Europe for biomass combustion in smaller sizes, suitable for industrial and district heating systems
