9 Requirements of HALS for automotive Interior Interior parts are exposed not only by UV radiation but also heat. HALS having low MW and low compatibility may cause migration and fogging issue. Exterior parts such as bumper do not need high thermal stability compared to interior parts. However, low compatibility of HALS may cause a negative effect to the paintability.
