42 GREENOVATE Challenge The Greenovate Challenge started as a competition to engage youths in greening their schools and encourage schools to embark on their Green Mark journeys. 14 Secondary Schools participated in the challenge, where they underwent an energy audit by the Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and proposed action plans to reduce energy consumption, save water and raise awareness within the school.

43 Build it Green (BIG) Club In line with BCA s mission to shape a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment, BCA established a Green Builders Club to nurture green advocates among students from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL), promote greater awareness and understanding of green buildings among this target group and inculcate a strong green culture among future professionals in the building and construction industry.
