37 cience & Technology Park in Ostrava It is a new trend of entrepreneurial network creation with possible creation of a new modern cluster. Technological Park of Ostrava (TPO) was established by the municipality of Ostrava, three universities and the Agency for Regional Development of Ostrava and is situated near the VB-TU Ostrava campus on the area of 100,000 sq. metres.

38 Cooperative ociety IPKA Cooperative ociety IPKA is a coordinative subject of more than 100 small and medium businesses and shops. The network is still growing through new suppliers and creates very dynamic formation that can be labeled as a " business cluster. This network was created as a direct reaction on the entrance of supranational hypermarkets (Kaufland etc.) into the region of Ostrava

39 We pay a great attention to the northeastern part of the Czech Republic (oravia-ilesian region) because of our hypothesis that this will be the most dynamic region in the Czech Republic in the creation of transnational clusters, utilizing its convenient location at the borders with Poland and lovakia
