1 Hydraulics & Irrigation Engineering Laboratories There are four fully equipped laboratories and one research center working under the Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering Division of the Department. These laboratories play a pivotal role in developing the basic concepts of the students related to the water resources engineering and management to formulate the solutions for the real problems. The laboratory equipment are being used by Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research students. In the research center, there are 10 Research cabins for M.Sc. and Ph.D. research scholars. There is quite conducive environment in the center to carry out numerical simulation modeling using RS & GIS software etc. About 25 students are admitted every year at Master level in the division and almost similar number of students are involved in their research work, whereas, 07 Ph.D. students are working on their research areas. They have produced a reasonable number of publications in national and international conferences / journals.
