8 Conventional Air Conditioner Vs EcoPlug Air Reference Temperature o o Conventional Return air is taken as Reference Temperature to control the Compressor. This tends to make the compressor work longer which is a function of wasted energy. EcoPlug Air Built-in Sensor measures ambient Air temperature Compressor shuts down relatively quicker than normal as soon as the comfort levels are sensed at the operating level while taking care of Short cycle protection. o No Reference of Heat exchanger temperature for operation of compressor leading to thermodynamic saturation Exact co-relation between heat exchanger and room temperature maintained thus preventing Thermodynamic Saturation.

9 Conventional Air Conditioner Vs EcoPlug Air Thermodynamic Saturation o o o Conventional On prolonged usage of AC the coil temperature keeps dropping and remains at a very low temperature throughout the operation. In spite of coil low temperature the compressor continues its operation thus unnecessarily cooling the coil resulting to thermodynamic saturation. compressor at this coil saturation level is wasted energy. EcoPlug Air EcoPlug is equipped with additional sensor to continuously monitor the coil temperature. The auto sense algorithms ensure that the coil is always maintained at optimum temperature level to achieve desired cooling. This never allows the coil to drop below the optimum level irrespective of any prolonged operation.
