1 Good reasons f analysing flue gas with the compact testo 300-x Practical and accurate Quick flue gas checks are of interest to all industrial burners. Crect adjustment of the burner saves money, protects the environment and guarantees optimum production conditions. A practical, user-friendly analyser which can be used at different points is ideal f analysing flue gas. The new testo 300 M-I/XL-I flue gas analyser combines the accuracy and efficiency of the large measuring systems with easy operation and low purchasing and maintenance costs. It is the ideal partner f adjusting burners, emission checks and checking the atmosphere in the production process. Flue gas duct The easy to use testo 300-I and its battery operation (rechargeable battery) facilitates measurements in inaccessible places in the flue gas duct. The flue gas dew point measurement is used f quick and easy checks on the filter and to locate inleaked air. Emission checks The flow speed is measured when emission is checked. The position of a stationary sample probe can be checked, f example. testo 300-I can be adjusted very accurately with test gas to measure the emission value. Combustion chamber measurement testo 300-I has very wide measuring ranges f the reliable detection of CO nests and to check f reduced atmosphere. The sampling probes can be used at up to 1800 C. In extreme conditions the CO measuring cell in testo300xl-i can be switched out of the gas path. Setting the burner testo 300-I calculates the air ratio and efficiency to efficiently adjust the burner. The pressure in the combustion chamber is measured parallel to the flue gas values. This is particularly imptant f multistage burners. Long-term measurements lasting several hours are possible with the optional mini gas preparation unit. Infrared interface to printer How does testo 300 M-I/XL-I wk? The flue gas is extracted in low amounts (approx. 0.8 l/min) via a sampling probe with a pump integrated in the analyser. Once it is cleaned and dehumidified the gas is conducted past the measuring cells. The readings which are stable within seconds, are shown continuously on the analyser`s display. The readings can be printed straightaway on the infrared printer can be saved in the integrated data memy f subsequent processing on the PC. Therefe in der to protect the analyser, simply replace the condensate trap in the sampling hose with a mini gas preparation unit which cools the flue gas. When condensate develops it is automatically pumped out by the integrated hose pump. Accurate S measurements Increct readings may be displayed during the measurement of S on account of S being absbed into the condensate in wet filters. The compact gas drier dries the flue gas and thus guarantees accurate readings, particularly in connection with the special hose f S measurements.
