1 ADDITIONAL COURSES GUIDE International and Global Human Rights (HR: 157) Undergraduate Bulletin The following list should be used only as a GUIDE for selecting courses to fulfill Additional Course requirement for the International and Global Studies major with a concentration in International and Global Human Rights. Courses highlighted in yellow represent RECOMMENDED courses (see also Lists of Recommended Courses ). IGS-marked offerings taught in a given semester appear in the Course Schedules (consult the Category listing) published by the University Registrar s Office. Both this Guide and the Registrar s Course Schedules are subject to change as courses are added to or deleted from the curriculum. Final IGS credit decisions are subject to approval by the Director of IGS or a designated Program advisor. At least 15 sh of this work must focus primarily on topics related to Human Rights in international and global contexts,* with at least 9 sh done at the upper-level (300 level and above); the remaining 3 sh (to complete the 18 sh requirement) may or may not focus on Human Rights.
