SUMMARY BDO HR Advisory Services aims to provide solutions to manage the risk associated with having people in your business. This includes a broad spectrum of areas, such as Strategic HR Solutions, International HR Solutions, People Enablement and People Effectiveness. A risk faced by many businesses is ineffective teams who don t work well together. BDO HR Advisory Services can develop various interventions to: Benchmark the culture of your team Identify strengths and limitations within the team Plot each team members contribution to the team and to the organisation as a whole Identify the delivery gaps in your team Develop action plans so that each team member uses their strengths to play a role in achieving the strategy Help leaders best manage each team member according to their unique personalities WHY BDO HR ADVISORY SERVICES? TEAM DEVELOPMENT PROCESS Assessment The first step in any intervention process is assessment. Through consultation with the relevant stakeholders we determine the desired outcomes. Using this we select suitable assessment tools to obtain the necessary information. The intervention is then designed using the desired outcomes and the assessment results to determine maximum output and identify gaps. Intervention The target team is then invited to the attend an intervention session(s) whereby team members will be given the opportunity to explore their own results of the assessments as well as those of their team members. Through a series of specifically designed games and exercises, team members are given the space to understand themselves better as well as how to make the most of their own and the teams strengths. The results are then practically applied to the team s strategy and goals, with a practical delivery plan put in place to achieve their goals, leveraging off the strengths of the team. Reporting The outcomes of the intervention are then summarised into a management report. Reports for each individual can be drafted and management reports can be customised to the needs of the line manager, areas which can be included are: Strengths; Team members under stress; & Development areas.

4 REPORTING: PLOTTING YOUR TEAM Using the assessment results from a tool such as the Myer Briggs Type Indicator we can give you a snapshot of your team and the roles played by each individual. Using the results we demonstrate each team member s contributions to the team.
