2 Job Description Reporting to: Cinema Projectionist/AV Technicians Location: mac birmingham, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH Post Ref: WE CT Principal Purpose of Post The Cinema Projectionist/AV Technicians are responsible to the Head of Technical Resources for the delivery of consistent and high quality technical services relating to requirements for screenings of film, video, digital media and related events and activities in the Centre and as needed through outreach or touring. This role will provide operational support to the Projectionists. Key Responsibilties To service the technical requirements for film screenings in mac's Cinema and other performance areas. The safe operation and maintenance of video, film, digital media and photography equipment and projection spaces in the department's control. To assist in the technical servicing of conferences, seminars and meetings within mac. 3 Person Specification A person specification describes the areas of knowledge, skills and experience a person should possess in order to take up the post. Skills and Experience Punctual Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team Willing to learn new skills October

4 Summary of Terms and Conditions Hours of work: students must be available for 7 days between the hours of 9am-10pm. Students will be given shifts within these times up to 25 hours Length of placement: one week (most shifts will be afternoon and late evening). Please ensure both the school and the legal guardian are happy with this before progressing with your application.
