Efficient human resource management an maintaining higher job satisfaction in Banks etermine not only the performance of the Bank but also affect the growth an performance of the entire economy. So, for the success of banking it is very important to manage human resource effectively an to fin whether its employees are or not only if they are, they will work with commitment an project a positive image of the organization. If they are highly they prouce more an it is profitable for the organization Job. is an integral component of organisation climate an an important element in the management employee s relationship. Job satisfaction means iniviuals emotional reaction to job it. It is a positive emotional state that occurs when a person s job seem to fulfill important job values provie. I. INTRODUCTION Banking sector has a very important place in our Inian economy. After nationalisation, the Inian banking system has consierably evelope with a large network of branches an wie range of financial instruments. The banking inustry is growing toay with a rapi spee an competition having more than,7,0 employees an,09,8 branches across Inia, as well as, 7 branches in abroa; managing eposits of Rs billion an bank creit of Rs billion. The net profit of banks operating in Inia was Rs billion against Rs billion turnover uring The amount of the profit inicates the efficiency of the organization. The larger the profit, the higher the growth rate. The profitability epens on the effective utilization of funs which ensure maximization of profit for growth. The banking sector is very important for Inian economy; therefore effective working an growth of banks are crucial for its economic health. Job satisfaction is the favorableness or un-favorableness with which employees view their work. Job satisfaction is a psychological concept an it is mostly epen upon the internal feeling of employees. There are a lot of inepenent variables on which job satisfaction is epening. These are eucational qualifications, nature of work, pay, job security, promotional opportunities an family & work life balance. The employee s satisfaction improve the prouctivity an profit so it is importantboth employees an employer also.in this paper researcher trie to explain the concept an factor affecting job satisfaction an their significant relationship with all factors. The commercial banks have embarke on ifferent management strategies as resorts to promote employees job satisfaction. The main purpose of the stuy is to ientify the s of job satisfaction among employees of public sector bank an the factors contributing to job satisfaction. II. LITERATURE REVIEW Khaleque, A & Nilima Chouhary a number of stuies suggest that job facets satisfaction scores weighte by importance are no better inicator of overall job satisfaction than unweight components[4]. More specifically we can furnish the objectives as follows To fin out the satisfaction of SBI regaring job aspects Sex, Age,No of Depene, Marital status Pay, Eucational, experience, Leave facilities Other basic requirements etc. To ientify the factors responsible for satisfaction or issatisfaction of the bank employees A. HYPOTHESES There will be a significant relationship between the variables (namely, occupational class, race, gener, eucational, experience, age, marital status, income an job status) an job satisfaction amongst employees in a SBI. B. Significance of the stuy The stuy of job satisfaction among Bank employees is important because there are various aspects of the job that are highly attractive an lea to satisfaction an aspects of the job that lea to issatisfaction. Positive aspects inclue the opportunity to work in Bank an employees to accomplish common goals, eveloping banking backgroun an the ability to work with co-workers. It is important to ientify which factors contribute to job satisfaction as well as those that may lea to job issatisfaction to assure that the manager ship is attractive to potent. There are many variables that have been hypothesize to be a result of job satisfaction or issatisfaction. These inclue both those variables of job performance an those of eem.the egree of satisfaction are etermine bythe ratio between what we have an what we want. By law of nature as we have more,we want more, hence the of satisfaction remains less. We enjoy work an fin it to be a central part of life, but some of us hate work an o so only because they must. Job satisfaction then can be important to those who are in an organization it allows the workers an researchers to look at aspects of job satisfaction in the organization an work to increase those aspects that lea to job satisfaction. IV. METHODOLOGY Eucational qualification, nature of work, pay, job security, promotional opportunities an no. of epene persons & work life balance is Inepenent variables an Job satisfaction has been taken as epenent variable.. The main purpose of the stuy is to ientify the s of job satisfaction among employees of public sector bank an the factors contributing to job satisfaction. Bank employees in this stuy refer to clerks, officers, an managers. To achieve the objectives of the stuy 0 surveys were sent (through questioners) to 0 public sector banks situate in istricts of Gorakhpur. Therefore all the questionnaires were returne having response rate of 00%. The questionnaire using -Scale Likert (, 2 Satisfie, 3 Neutral 4 is Dis ) esign to test the impact of all the variables. For this stuy the questionnaire is ivie into 2 sections emographic variables an facets of job satisfaction. The questionnaire cover all the variables such as eucational qualifications, nature of work, pay, job security, promotional opportunities an no. of epene & work environment A. Data Analysis an Interpretation It is to be recalle that the principal objectives of the present stuy are to stuy the factors affecte job satisfaction of B.I. bank employees. Data collecte with the help of questionnaire T-test is applie for the significant of variables. Job satisfaction is erive from many inter-relate factors. Although these factors can never be completely isolate from one another for analysis, they can by the use of statistical techniques, be separate enough to give an inication of their relative importance to job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is the result of effectof so many factors. The terms are highly personalize, as the of satisfaction iffers from time to time an situation. Moreover, the attitue of any employee affects a lot. Accoring to Robbins an Sanghi (2006) Job satisfaction is collection of feelings that an iniviual hols towar his or her job. One gets satisfaction in any of the activities epening upon how he/she perceives the situation an what is expecte in exchange of effort.
