1 Custodian Job Title Job Description General labor job typically requiring the ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions, such as the ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies. Job duties may include sweeping floors, vacuuming carpeting, removing wastepaper and other refuse, and dusting furniture and fixtures. May also include cleaning walls, floors, equipment, and other facilities and grounds related work. Facilities and Machine Maintenance Performs changeovers, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and machines. Diagnoses trouble, tears down and reassembles intricate mechanisms and machines. Checks alignments, adjusts machine settings. Utilizes common precision measuring instruments, gauges, and equipment. Abides by OSHA procedures for hearing protection, HazMat, Lockout/Tagout, and may maintain Material Safety Data Sheets. Completes facilities projects and building maintenance/repairs as needed, including, but not limited to, painting, minor electrical work, room set-up, and plumbing. Hand Packager Repetitive manual packaging of multiple small components. Removes individual components from bins, trays, or boxes and places proper combination and quantity of components into individual packages or bags. Hand Assembler Repetitive assembly by hand of two or more components into a single finished product, such as adding a handle or assembling a pen. Removes individual components from bins, trays, or boxes and manually combines the components to assemble a product. Assembly Machine Operator Packer Repetitive machine assembly of two or more components into a single finished product, such as adding rivets, zippers, handles, etc. Removes individual components from bins, trays, or boxes, and places them in a machine. Operates machine to combine, jam, rivet, or assemble the components into a single product. Repetitive manual packing of finished products into boxes or containers for shipping or storage. Packing methods may vary based upon the type, size, and number of units to be packed, and the type of bag, box, or container used. Work may involve one or more of the following: knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content selection of appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing container; applying labels or entering identifying data on container. Folder Person Workstation Stocker Repetitive hand folding of paper, textile, or other materials according to predetermined specifications. Examples include folding military uniforms or file folders. Stocks multiple workstations with bins, trays, or boxes filled with raw materials. Stocks workstations with all necessary packing labels and containers. May be responsible for removing finished goods from the workstations, arranging boxes on a pallet, and/or wrapping pallets in preparation for shipment. May maintain production records and assist with workstation changeovers.

2 Hand Assembly Line Coordinator Non-supervisory position. Monitors production and coordinates the activities of hand assemblers, packers, and/or workstation stockers to ensure efficient production. May operate heat-sealing or wrapping machinery, or assist with arranging boxes on pallets for shipment. Assists with production changeovers, maintains production records. May be responsible for training and coaching workers in the assembly line. Machine Production Line Coordinator Non-supervisory position. May assist with periodic loading of raw materials into production machines, operate heat-sealing or wrapping machinery, or assist with arranging boxes on pallets for shipment. Shipping and Receiving - Level I General warehouse labor job, typically requires the ability to read bills of materials, shipping documents, or equivalent. Load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse or production facility. Work includes pulling orders together and assembling them for shipment to customers or distribution centers. Work may include using banding and shrink wrap machines. Work may include gathering or distributing product or materials within the production area. Some packaging may be required. Incumbents will typically use pallet jacks and a riding forklift to move, stack, load, or unload materials in and about plant, warehouse, staging area, etc. Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product. Shipping and Receiving - Level 2 Coordinating or lead role in Shipping and Receiving, but not a supervisory position. Responsible for scheduling of shipments with carriers. In addition to filling orders and indicating items filled or omitted, workers may keep records of outgoing orders, requisition additional stock, report short supplies to supervisor, and perform other related duties. Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices. May transport filled orders to shipping or delivery platform using hand carts or power lift trucks.

3 Inspector, Quality Assurance Responsible for first piece, sampling, final floor, or bench inspection of manufactured parts or products to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Inspection procedures are standardized and allowable variations prescribed. Devises ordinary gauging or measuring set ups or makes adaptations to inspection equipment or fixtures. Responsible for stopping production or notifying supervisor in case of excessive defects. 4 Sewing Machine Operator Labeler Pallet Loader Changes over, adjusts and operates sewing machine. Sews a wide variety of precut parts or from patterns. Maintains even stitch, tension, alignment and distribution of material. Starts and ends bands as specified. Cleans and oils machine as necessary. Applies adhesive labels to boxes and/or individual products. May apply product identification tags or cards using cable ties. Arranges and stacks boxes of finished goods onto pallets to be prepared for shipment. Moves loaded pallets out of producting area using a pallet jack. Skilled Labor Production Supervisor First line supervisor of a skilled production labor workforce. The job typically requires multiple years of job related training and experience, including experience in the work of the department. Under management guidance, schedules work, assists with employee selection, reviews employee performance, administers work rules and recommends compensation, unless it is governed by contract. Responsible for productivity and quality management to the extent that it falls within department control. Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, process modifications and may recommend product or service modifications. Do not report working supervisors or leads, where a majority of time is spent performing hands-on work of the department. Unskilled Labor Production Supervisor First line supervisor of an unskilled production labor workforce. The job typically requires limited training in supervision and job related training and experience. Under close management guidance, schedules work, reviews employee performance, administers work rules. Responsible for productivity and quality management to the extent that it falls within department control. Do not report working supervisors or leads, where a majority of time is spent performing hands-on work of the department. BSC Sales Associate Greets and assists customers with their purchases. Scans or keys in product information, prepares sales receipts, handles cash and/or credit transactions. May stock shelves, apply labels or price tags, and perform routine cleaning. May assist with inventory and cycle counting. BSC Manager Responsible for day-to-day operation and supervision of employees at a Base Supply Center. Maintains inventory controls and provides oversight for retail product display, ensures compliance with relevant regulations. Contact Center Customer Service Representative Performs inbound or outbound customer service following established procedures to receive questions and/or provide information in a call center environment. Operates under close supervision. May update client/customer database records and maintain other electronic records.

5 Contact Center Coordinator/Supervisor Mail Room Worker Monitors day-to-day operation of a contact center environment and supervises customer service associaties in their work. Sort incoming mail for distribution and/or dispatch outgoing mail. May open or seal envelopes by hand or machine, stamp date/time of receipt. Mail is sorted according to destination and type. May fold letters, circulars, or other items. May assign postage by hand or with postage meters. May identify alternative delivery methods and/or maintain delivery records. Operates under close supervision.
