3 PHYSICAL TESTING HS series Lab & Production Heat Sealers An established and industry approved range of precision heat sealing machines used in quality control and production applications. Precise control of the heat sealing bars to accurate limits of temperature, pressure and dwell time. Meets requirements of the ASTM F for making heat seals for the determination of heat sealability of flexible webs. SST series Seal Strength / Universal Testers Affordable, versatile and easy to use, the SST series offers the latest in design for low force universal testing machines. Providing force capacities up to 500N and utilizing interchangeable grips to increase the extensive test capabilities for a wide range of applications. The equipment meets ASTM F-88 test method for measuring seal strength of flexible materials. A small footprint takes up minimal bench space, with long cross arm travel providing versatility for most requirements. CF-800XS Co-Efficient of Friction Tester The CF-800XS Friction Tester measures static and dynamic coefficient of friction of a variety of materials. Includes a 2000g load cell, vacuum test bed and 200g test sled which meets many international test methods including ASTM, BS, ISO and DIN. The option of a heated test bed adds the measurement of Hot Slip and the optional software program allows data acquisition of measured values producing load v time graph and test reporting. HT-1XS Hot Tack Seal Strength Tester Accurate measurement of Hot Tack Seal Strength enables optimal balance of packaging cycle rate and seal integrity on VFFS and HFFS machines. The custom-made nature of modern flexible films makes it vital to regularly check Hot Tack Seal Strength. The HT- 1XS seals and peels sample material with either flat or crimped sealing jaws to ASTM F-1921.

4 PERMEATION & HEADSPACE OX-TRAN Oxygen Permeation Testing (OTR) The MOCON range of oxygen permeation measuring instruments, set the worldwide standard for oxygen transmission rate testing of flexible, semi -rigid and rigid films and packages using a patented coulometric sensor. WINPERM software ensures precise control and reporting, operating to ASTM and other international standards for Quality Control and R&D research applications. AQUATRAN / PERMATRAN-W Water Vapour Permeation Testing (WVTR) PERMATRAN-C CO² Permeation Testing (CO²TR) Barrier technology is essential for maintaining the product quality in bottles, packages and films where carbon dioxide is the sensitive gas. The MOCON C4/40 efficiently measures the transmission rates of the package media to determine shelf life limitations. Operating to ASTM and other international standards Mocon sets the worldwide standard in carbon dioxide transmission rate testing. The MOCON range of WVTR permeation measuring instruments, sets the worldwide standard for transmission testing of flexible, semi-rigid and rigid, films and packages using an accurate and sensitive infrared detection sensor. WINPERM software ensures precise control and reporting, operates to ASTM and other international standards for Quality Control and R&D research applications. PAC-CHECK 302/325/450/650 M.A.P. Headspace Analysers Mocon Headspace Analysers for almost all kinds and sizes of packages. The PAC CHECK Systems are used in production, quality control, and R&D applications. They measure O² and/or CO² concentration with small sample amounts, manually or automatically. The same analyser can be used for both flexible and rigid packaging. Instruments are certified traceable to NIST as an added feature for the quality conscious producer.

5 PACKAGE & SEAL INTEGRITY SealScope & SealCam On-Line Seal Inspection New, patented, 100% on-line seal integrity inspection systems. Thanks to a highly advanced recognition algorithm, sealing defects are instantaneously detected during the sealing process. Within milliseconds, a fingerprint of every package is recorded, and intelligent software controls a pass/fail ejector, provides statistical data, traceability, and highlights trends in seal production capability before reaching outer tolerances. PAC-CHECK 800 Series Gas & Package Integrity Analysers Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Leak, and Pack Volume measurement is offered in this range of bench top units. Imperative for shelf life testing of finished packages, including MAP and vacuum packed products. The PacCheck systems are used in production, quality control and R&D applications. These instruments are certified traceable to NIST. LIPPKE 4000 Series Leak & Burst - Package Integrity The Lippke 4000 series measures leak, seal integrity and burst strength of flexible, semi-rigid and rigid packages by inflating the pack at controlled levels. The control console conducts the tests to precisely definable and reproducible test conditions. The Lippke 4000 is suited to lab or production areas, with digital display, printer or pc output for results, whilst the Lippke 4500 is computer controlled and offers a high level of test reporting. VC1380 Blister Pack Vacuum Leak Detection The VC1380 Vacuum Leak Detection System is primarily designed to find leaks in tablet blister packs and other semirigid packages. It automates the classic Methylene blue dye test and provides comprehensive documentation when the test is complete. Test parameters are adjustable and stored, ensuring identical products will always be tested with the same parameters making the test very repeatable.
