1 BUSINESS GENERAL ACTIVITIES TRACK TUESDAY, JUNE 13 10:00 A.M. 11:30 A.M. The Emerging Use of Drones at Terminals ILTA s Vice President of Project Administration, Peter Weaver, will lead a panel discussion on the applications of unmanned aircraft systems at liquid terminal facilities. Brian Streem, Founder and CEO of Aerobo, an aerial filming and drone cinematography company, will review the technology s capabilities and limitations and identify applications for terminal facilities. Eric Conard, Manager, Environmental and Business Development for Petro-Diamond Terminal Company, and Tresmon Smith, Survey Manager for Nustar Energy, will discuss opportunities for the use of drones in surveying and inspecting terminal facilities as well as in oil response. Speakers will examine licensing and regulatory compliance issues and potential difficulties for drone operators. ABOUT THE SPEAKERS Moderator Peter Weaver is Vice President of Project Administration for ILTA. Weaver joined ILTA in 2006 and has been engaged with all branches of federal government on the wide range of legislative and regulatory activity impacting the bulk terminal industry. Weaver holds an Associate Degree in Marine Engineering Technology from Northwestern Michigan College, a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a Master s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. Panelists Eric Conard is Manager, Environmental and Business Development, for Petro-Diamond Inc. He has over 27 years of environmental, health, safety, emergency response and security experience in the energy and petroleum storage and transport industry. Conard joined Petro- Diamond in 2007 and is currently responsible for all aspects of EH&S, regulatory compliance, emergency response, security and asset expansion. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from San Diego State University. Brian Streem is the Founder and CEO of Aerobo, a professional aerial filming and drone cinematography business based in New York. Aerobo s network of drone service professionals operates in over 40 states, Europe and Canada. Streem founded Aerobo in 2013 and is an entrepreneur, technologist and filmmaker.
