Most people assume that their household insurance will cover their goods while in storage, however this is not always the case. For some people, insuring stored goods completely slips their mind even though they would never be without it on their home, car or other valued possessions. We recommend that all customers arrange for insurance of their goods whilst in transit or storage. National Storage can provide cost-effective insurance cover to protect your valuable goods while in storage. This can all be arranged with one easy form when you sign your storage agreement. WHAT SIZE UNIT DO I NEED? Most people overestimate how much space they ll need. We can save you time and money by providing the perfect sized unit for your goods and access needs These guidelines give you an estimate of what size storage unit you require. What you can fit in a unit depends on what you are storing and how often you need to access it. 1.5m x 1.5m This unit will hold small furniture and boxes or approximately 80 archive boxes for document storage. WHAT SIZE UNIT DO I NEED? TRAILER & TRUCK HIRE 3m x 2m This unit can hold the contents of an average one bedroom unit. We are the next best thing to a friend with a ute We can provide you with convenient, cost effective and reliable moving solutions for your every need. 3m x 3m This unit can hold the contents of an average two bedroom home/unit. You no longer need to hire a truck, or borrow a friend s trailer or ute to move into your storage unit. Simply come in and pick up one of ours. (a surcharge applies for after hours connection) Post Office Arrange to have mail forwarded to your new address. Keys Arrange for collection of keys for your new home, have spares cut if needed and return old keys.
