3 Overview of the Cost Data Form The form has been circulated to the participants to input into their resource specific planned maintenance cost data Form is separated into a separate sheet for gas turbine resources and steam turbine resources It has been assumed if there are multiple resources of the same type (e.g. multiple gas turbines), the costs will be approximately the same. If this is not the case for your generation facility, please advise the IESO

4 How to use the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form The participants will input data into the cells marked for input This input will be used to calculate a cost per type of start (hot, warm, or cold) Calculations can be inspected in the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form

5 How to use the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form (Continued) The values inputted by the participant must be based on supporting documentation Each participant shall submit along with the completed Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form a package of supporting documentation to substantiate the input

6 Supporting Documentation Acceptable forms of documentation to substantiate values input include, but are limited to the following: Paid invoice from contractors/vendors for relevant services/products Relevant contracts for equipment suppliers and/or service providers Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals/recommendations Independent 3 rd party from a reputable organization such as a recognized international standard organization, government agency, or industry research body Vendor quotation for a firm commitment that provides reasonable details on the scope of services and/or parts being supplied to substantiate the reasonableness of the quoted costs Other reasonable documentation to support the participant s input in the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form The IESO reserves the right to deem any documentation unacceptable if it does not sufficiently support the input values into the calculation sheets which could include reasons such as documentation being illegible, costs are not eligible for the RT-GCG program, incomplete information, vague or unclear information to support the values inputted into the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form, etc.

11 Gas Turbine Resource Sheet Total Incremental Operating and Maintenance Per RT-GCG Start Calculated based on inputted information by the participant and determined based on the planned maintenance triggers (either FFH or FS) The included costs per start includes the CSA Fees based either on the Fee Per FFH or Fee per FS as applicable for your generation facility. CSA Fees = (FFH Per Type of Start)($/FFH) CSA Fees = $/FS

12 Gas Turbine Resource Sheet Total Incremental Operating and Maintenance Per RT-GCG Start (Continued) The Total Cost of Planned Maintenance Outages (TCPMO) over the MI cycle is calculated as follows: TCPMO = (Cost per CI)(# of CI per MI cycle)+ (Cost Per HGPI)(# of HGPI Per MI Cycle)+ (Cost Per MI)(# of MI Per MI Cycle) The TCPMO is apportioned per start based on the recommended OEM maintenance interval for your gas turbine resource

Therefore, resulting costs shall not be construed as agreed upon or final until written confirmation is provided by the IESO. The calculations contained in the Planned Maintenance Cost Data Form are provisional and may be subject to change.
