Our product range includes lifting and tilting equipment for automated loading of parts into our feeding systems ranging from small storage containers to large skeleton boxes. STEP FEEDERS The products to be sorted are transported from the funnel and transferred to the LINEAR FEEDER with the help of counter-rotating stepper plates. The stepper plates are moved on linear guides. Due to this special design, our STEP FEEDERS are very low-noise. Another advantage of the STEP FEEDER technology: the sorting material is handled very carefully. The width and thickness of the stepper plates are adjusted to the respective bulk material which helps presorting and limits the quantity of the parts to be transported up the stepper plates. DRUM FEEDERS KÖBERLEIN & SEIGERT developed DRUM FEEDERS to be used when parts that are difficult to transport, because they don t slide well (e.g. rubber), have to be sorted or fed. The DRUM FEEDER consists of a rotating plastic drum which is open on both sides with rejection elements on the inner side that transfer a defined amount of parts to the LINEAR CONVEYOR per rotation. - Slide widths from 100 mm (3.94 ) to 1000 mm (39.4 ) - Transfer heights from 420 mm (16.5 ) to 3000 mm (118 ) - Low ergonomic fill heights; below 1000 mm (39.4 ) even with high discharge heights - Parts provision with funnel from 5 l (0.177 cu. ft) to 80 l (2.825 cu. ft), with hopper up to 1000 l (35.3 cu. ft) more available upon request - No reduced performance with lower parts supply % empty process possible - Compact design - Particularly low maintenance and low wear and tear 5 6 LINEAR CONVEYORS The KÖBERLEIN & SEIGERT LINEAR CONVEYORS are extremely robust constructions which have been used in practical applications for many years. It is necessary to supply expensive or finished components individually in containers or on pallets. The palletiser performs this work in a fully automated production environment. The heart of the KÖBERLEIN & SEIGERT system is a pallet changer which buffers a complete pallet stack on a conveyor belt, automatically pulls it in and separates it. A lifting unit then brings the pallet into the loading/unloading position. MACHINE CONVERSIONS A machine conversion is a matter of trust.
