3 Air-to-Air Refuelling is globally recognised as the most technically advanced Aerial Refuelling supplier in the world Cobham provides the F-35 Lightening II Joint Strike Fighter retractable air refuelling probe which is used on both STOVL and Carrier Variants of the aircraft 2/3 The Airbus A330 MRTT features two Cobham wing mounted 905E refuelling pods providing high levels of performance and flexibility in support of the modern war fighter 4 Cobham s patented telescopic refuelling probe for Bell/Boeing V-22 Osprey provides exceptional operational benefits 5 Cobham s 48 Wing-Mounted pods are standard equipment for all C-30J Tanker models Refuelling Systems Refuelling Systems include hydraulic, fueldraulic and electric solutions to refuel both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Wing Pods, Fuselage Refuelling Units, Probes and Buddy Stores options are available to suit customers individual operational requirements. Wing-mounted aerial refuelling pods are designed as a ready interface for aircraft tanker conversion. The pods feature a hose-and-drogue refuelling system. Adaptable to many different platforms, Cobham s centreline hose reels also provide tanker to reciever probe and drogue refuelling for increased aircraft range and mission capability. Aircraft Special Purpose Pods and Pylons Special Purpose Pods and Pylons are used as permanent and/or temporary installations on applicable aircraft for special missions. All pods and pylons are built to military specifications containing the mounting structure to secure the mission payload components.
