People credited with this unit standard are able to: establish the symptoms and causes of petrochemical wellhead faults; prepare for the removal and dismantling of petrochemical wellhead items and components; remove petrochemical wellhead items and components; arrange for the repair of petrochemical wellhead items and components; replace and commission petrochemical wellhead components and component parts; assemble repaired and replacement petrochemical wellhead components and component parts; and adjust and test petrochemical wellhead component parts in restored equipment.
