People credited with this unit standard are able to analyse: flooring material requirements; surface material requirements; wall surface material requirements; and cabinet construction and hardware requirements, to develop kitchen or bathroom designs; and apply surface material and hardware requirements to developed kitchen or bathroom designs. These requirements include but are not limited to company specifications and procedures, work instructions, manufacturer s specifications, product quality specifications, legislative requirements. Client refers to the person who has commissioned the design brief. Kitchen or bathroom design brief refers to the design parameters agreed between the kitchen or bathroom designer and the client. 3 Evidence is required of a minimum of two different kitchen or bathroom designs.
