2 High density modular storage system The high density modular storage systems range includes open framed racks, cabinets, storage carts and procedure carts which all incorporate the interchangeable module system. The entire system is based on the ISO standard 60x40 and the modules have been designed on this basis. The modular systems are available as standard units or can be custom designed and built using various cart, rack or cabinet options to suit your storage parameters. HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS These modular systems are ideal for storing, organising and transporting theatre consumables, CSSD sterile stock, medicines, pharmacy bottles, anaesthetics, sutures and small consumables. NSC has the capabilities to design and install large scale hospital redevelopment projects. NSC provides detailed CAD designed drawings to demonstrate the correct scale and size of the shelving site. The entire high density modular storage system is based around the uniquely designed side panels or sliding plastic rails and interchangeable baskets, trays and shelves (modules). The units are designed in either E (600mm wide) or U (400mm wide) configurations and additional bays can be added to make it wider. All modules are designed to fit in either an E or U style systems and are available in 5cm, 10cm or 20cm heights. The modules are a retractable system which have a unique safety-stop function which prevents the module from accidentally falling out when pulled. The plastic side rails are attached to the racking system, which allows modules to be placed at horizontal or vertical positions. These rails can be moved at various heights at any time, without tools and baskets can be displayed on an angle (see left). The side panels attach to the wall of the cabinet, cart or trolley and allows the modules to be placed at various levels to improve organisation and stock rotation. The enhanced Tilt side panels allow 9 horizontal insertions and either gently or steeply (116 ) tilts when pulled out, depending on the position of the stop clip. The steep angle of the tilt makes the module easier to use, particularly in the upper areas of the cabinet. The Flex side panels and side rails for racking systems allow modules to be stored on an angled or horizontal, providing easier access for top module contents.
