(21) Wor. 9/2560 Re: Reports required to be submitted on the use of electronic money card under Notification of the Ministry of Finance Re: Business which requires authorization under Clause 5 of the Announcement of the National Executive Council No. 58 (Electronic Money Card Business), Dated 9 th February B.E Information on reporting the use of electronic money card Reporting Form Electronic Money Card Service Providers can download the reporting form from BOT s website by selecting the topic BOT Data Submission > Reporting Form and Explanatory Document for payment systems information > Report on electronic payment service or nt/pages/epayment.aspx which is available to download from 10 th February B.E Data Acquisition Service providers must submit the reports as excel file via the DMS Internet. Reporting timeframe Service providers must submit the reports within 30 days from the end of the prescribed reporting period. 2 The excel file of electronic money service (e-money) comprises of 3 sheets: "Instruction" sheet provides instruction for data reporting "emoney" sheet provides a monthly data on electronic money service (e-money) "Definition" sheet provides meaning of table and data description Methodology 1. Fill data only into Yellow cell 2. Select "Institution Code", "Month" and "Year" of data 3. If there is no data to be reported, enter "0" into the worksheet. 4. If data is entered invalidly and incompletely, cell will display: The cell becomes blue when data is incompletely entered. In case of numeric cell, if there is no data to be reported, please enter "0" into that cell. The cell becomes red when it contains data which is unrelated to the previous entry. For instance there is data appears without "System Name" entry; or volume data appears with no show of value data. The cell becomes green when data entry is in wrong order. 5. 5 Title Frequency/ Depth of Detail Submission date Definitions Metadata Electronic Money Service (e-money) Monthly/ Monthly Data Within 30 days from the end of reporting period This report contains electronic money service (e-money) data which collected from e-money service providers. The table presents number of e-money cards/accounts and participating merchants, as well as volume and value of e-money top-up, e-money spending, e-money spending transaction errors, and outstanding balance of funds collected in advance. (Card-based) means total number of e-money cards which e-money balance is recorded on that card or other devices carried under product brand which created by service providers. Customers are able to make payment of goods and services or others via this card. Furthermore, the top-up or spending balance can be recorded on the card. (the number reported as of the last day of the month) Accounts (Network-based) means total number of e-money's accounts which e-money balance is recorded in computer system or server under product brand created by service providers. Customers are able to make payment of goods and services or others via this account. (the number reported as of the last day of the month) Number of Merchants means total number of merchants who accompany with service providers (count only the legal entity). Customers are able to use e-money under product brand to make payment of goods and services or others at the participating merchants. (the number reported as of the last day of the month) e-money Top-up Cash means total volume and value of transactions added up to e-money cards/accounts by cash i.e. e-money top-up by cash over the counter. means total volume and value of transactions added up to e-money cards/accounts by all types of cards i.e. ATM cards, Debit cards, Credit cards/credit card accounts including e-money top-up by card number reference. Bank accounts means total volume and value of transactions added up to e-money cards/accounts by making deductions from bank accounts (savings accounts and checking accounts in particular). e-money Funds Transfer means total volume and value of transactions added up to e-money cards/accounts by receiving funds transfer from any other e-money accounts. Others means total volume and value of transactions added up to e-money cards/accounts by other means in addition to the aforementioned methods.

6 Metadata e-money Spending Air time means total volume and value of e-money transactions spent to purchase mobile air time via mobile top-up feature. Goods and Services means total volume and value of e-money transactions spent to make a payment of goods and services, including a payment for utilities. e-money Funds Transfer means total volume and value of e-money transactions spent by transferring from e-money card/account to another e-money card/account. Others means total volume and value of transactions spent for others in addition to the aforementioned spending i.e. cash redemption and transfer to bank accounts. e-money Spending Transaction Errors System Problems means total volume and value of e-money which encountered the problem arising from the operation systems. The reported number includes e-money fraudulent transactions that occurred in the reported month. Customer Problems means total volume and value of e-money which encountered the problem arising from the customers. The reported number includes e-money fraudulent transactions that occurred in the reported month. Other problems means total volume and value of e-money spending transactions encountered the problem arising from any factors other than the operation systems and customers. The reported number includes e-money fraudulent transactions that occurred in the reported month. Outstanding Balance of funds collected in advance (e-money float) means the value of outstanding balance of funds collected in advance that the service providers received from the customers as of the end of the reported month.
