3 The Importance of Copywriting to Your Messaging Strategy Messaging and copywriting are like a hand and glove they are intricately linked. If you think about it, messaging drives absolutely everything; including an employer s memo delivering news about a merger to its employees, the announcement of a new product, a social media post, a bylined article, an advertisement, an promoting a sale, the sticker label on fruit, and TV commercials. Everything is driven by messaging, and here s a secret Copywriting is the lifeblood of your messaging, and messaging is the lifeblood of your brand. When reviewing or writing copy, make sure it expresses the benefits as opposed to simply the features of your products or services, and tout an immediate life-changing, life-easing, benefit to the consumer.
