If you don t know what a hashtag is, it s simply a number symbol followed by a keyword.

9 People on Instagram generally search for these hashtags. They can like, comment on, and share these pictures. They can also follow other people s accounts and direct message them. The team isn t doing much with the sharing and commenting features right now. They mostly just upload pictures and use the hashtags. Below, you ll find a screenshot of an Instagram account that has over a million followers. That means that when this account owner uploads a picture, that picture is instantly displayed in the newsfeed of over a million people. Think about how powerful that is from a paid traffic standpoint. That s a million impressions. Now, let s say that you were paying Facebook $0.40 per impression. A million impressions would cost you quite a bit, wouldn t they? You can get a lot of free traffic from Instagram, and it s free. So, not only could you make money with this system, but you could save a ton of money just by switching your campaigns over to Instagram. At any moment, you can pop up in front of every user who has ever shown interest in your site, and you can do it as many times as you like per day. Jordon estimates that this particular user is posting 10 pictures a day on average. This site alone is worth millions of dollars, and it s possible for anyone to grow their own Instagram account to be this popular. Jordon does web research all the time, particularly when it comes to these media sources. Over the last 20 years, media has changed immensely. People used to spend tons of money on advertising mediums such as billboards and magazine ads, which they still do, but now there are a lot more options out there. Instagram is one of the major platforms that you can use to

Jordon and his team have found that Instagram is growing at an enormous rate, and this is fueled by people s addictions to these images. Every day there s new media, and you constantly want to check it, share it, and comment on it. One of the best features of this site is that Instagram notifies you anytime there is activity on your account. All the sudden there will be a buzz from your smartphone, and when you check it, you see activity on Instagram. This draws you in, and it can be hard at times to break away. Now, Jordon isn t the only person in the world to recognize Instagram s power. Big brands are currently taking advantage of Instagram s free traffic to generate billions from free advertising. Of course, Big Brands are usually the first to jump on opportunities such as this because they have teams which analyze media and find the best and least expensive outlets. At the moment, 40% of the top 1,000 most popular Instagram videos are from brand name products. This is free advertising to these companies, but it s not really perceived as advertising by the users. Here are some more stats that might interest you: Two-thirds of the world s mobile data traffic will be video by 2017 Lululemon, one of the firsts brands to use Instagram video, gets about seven times as many comments on its Instagram videos as it does on its photos. Overall, Instagram video is 50% more engaging than photos

11 Look at the screenshot above. This demonstrates the last point, which is that video is 50% more engaging than photos on Instagram. Photos are still a powerful medium for engaging users though. Before moving forward, you need to know that Instagram is about to start rolling out a paid ad platform. Right now, they are letting big brands use a private paid ad platform. They will soon be releasing this to the public. When they do, things are going to happen a lot like they did when Facebook came out with their ad platform back in 2012, meaning that there s going to be a feeding frenzy. At first, traffic is going to be dirt cheap on this site because this platform is pretty much untapped. Affiliates are definitely going to start cashing in when this happens. Jordon knew that he wanted to be ready and that he wanted to be making money with Instagram before other affiliates got in there. Jordon says that he thinks of other affiliates like a school of piranhas. It s very easy to make money as an affiliate, especially when you have a new traffic source like this. When Facebook first came out, you could copy and paste an ad there and double your money. You really didn t have to do any split testing or anything like that back then, according to Jordon. Instagram is very similar nowadays.

12 The chart above shows the growth rate of Instagram, and it shows that something interesting happened in April of Instagram was actually purchased by Facebook. This made the site grow exponentially. As soon as Facebook purchased Instagram, the site went from having around 30 million users to 100 million users between April and September of that year. Facebook is now preparing Instagram for this paid ad platform so that they can start cashing in. Again, Instagram is growing at an incredible speed. The site has added 4.25 million users in seven month s time. That s really unheard of when it comes to mobile apps like this. Also, in the first 10 days of the app being launched, they were averaging a growth of 10,000 new users per day, and in the first four months, they were having over 300,000 photos uploaded per day. That drastically surpassed other social apps like Twitter and Snapchat. Jordon also adds that Instagram is available in 10 different languages. Why is this important? Any good marketer knows that there are opportunities in other, non-english-speaking countries. If you can market in different languages, you can do quite well. Instagram also integrates well with Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Photosquare. That s important because this is going to help Instagram grow over time.

13 Social Media Automated Farming Jordon s method is called Social Media Automated Farming. It is fully legal and compliant with Instagram s terms. They use 100% free traffic, and this works with almost any type of offer, including CPA, ClickBank offers, MLM, etc. You can even use it to promote your own products or services. For instance, one of Jordan s students is currently promoting his books on Amazon. Jordan used a mobile emulator called Bluestacks to present how they make money via Instagram during his presentation. That way, he could show it live. This is a free program that s open source right now. He showed this to demonstrate how they could bypass having to use a phone all of the time. The account that he is showing in the screenshot above has about 20,000 followers. The first thing that Jordon did during his presentation was post a photo. As soon as you post a photo on your account, all of the followers you have on Instagram will see it. So, in Jordon s case, that could potentially be 20,000 users. The photo that Jordon used was a fitness photo. They often post fitness and motivational photos. Next, he put some fitness-related hashtags. One of them was #crossfit because, according to Jordon, people go crazy over that. He then

14 put in his affiliate link for an iphone 6 offer. He says that he only promotes offers that do really well, and of course, the iphone 6 is very popular right now. The page that these consumers are sent to scales for a mobile phone, so users on Instagram can see it through their mobile device. Obviously, this is important since users have to interact through the app. When a person reaches this page, they simply select a color and enter in their zip code. This is a $2 mobile offer. To lead people to your offer, you only have two steps. You post your photo and you add you affiliate link and ad copy. The settings for this are shown above. The team uses tap instead of clicks because everyone taps on mobile devices. After making that selection, Jordon added the words For Your Chance to Win the New iphone 6. Then, he added the link and clicked Save. The next thing that Jordon did was open up the stats in his affiliate network. Leaving it open, Jordon continued his presentation. You will soon be able to see what results he got 10 or 15 minutes after posting his ad. For now, let s learn a bit more about the team s method. It took Jordon less than a minute to make this post. That s really all the work that s involved once you have grown your account to have a substantial amount of followers. Here s a breakdown of the steps you need to take to use this method: Build a Great Image Gallery Let the Account Grow

15 Post Pictures with Affiliate Links Before you can begin leveraging Instagram, you need to have good photos that will easily go viral. There are all sorts of ways that you can find images for your gallery. Jordon recommends either taking your own pictures with your sell phone or purchasing them from stock image galleries. For the second step, growing your account, Jordon and his team use two methods. Method A is to post pictures and add hashtags manually with your phone. You could also do this from a computer emulator like Bluestacks. This will allow you to upload picture from your computer. Method B involves using an automated tool to make your posts. This is what Jordon and his team members do. They have a tool that works 24/7, and it s like a virtual person is posting, commenting, and liking. Not that it takes any time at all to make these posts, but Jordon and the other team members have this set up to run completely on autopilot. Now, imagine having multiple accounts all of autopilot and growing daily. This system is very scalable. Jordon and his team set these accounts up, run their automation software, and essentially have a free traffic machine that requires very little work but makes them money all of the time. Occasionally, Jordon and the other team members change up the photos and make sure that there s some activity in the account, but that s all that s really required. For the most part, they just sit back and let their accounts grow.

16 Of course, if you re going to make any money, you re going to need some offers to promote. Jordon and his team mostly promote affiliate offers. Many of these offers involve some sort of app installation or sweepstakes. The landing page for one such offer is shown above. This is a landing page that s actually owned by Google. When a prospect reaches this page, they simply choose to install this app or not to. This particular offer pays out $2.10 each time a person installs this app. Another landing page Jordon shared is for a mobile antivirus. When a person reaches this page, they are asked to enter in their mobile phone number and click Continue. Then, they confirm by their purchase by text message. This offer pays out $12.30 per install. A lot of these landing pages don t require the user to submit much information because they are meant for mobile users. Again, other than posting some pictures and finding good offers, there s very little you have to do. Jordon says that he s never seen an online system that was more hands-off. A lot of people claim to have hands-off systems, but they end up requiring a lot of work for either the person running the business or their assistants. This is truly hands-off for the most part, and it is a free traffic machine. Jordon and his team have discovered another method that has allowed them to triple their profits. You see, they began collecting the s of users that were going to these affiliate offers. This isn t anything new. Other marketers do this all of the time, but Jordon and his team do this in a very effective manner. You can use this with any type of traffic source. This method can make you a lot of money because, as they say, the money is in the list. So, Jordon and his team collect the s of prospects and send these prospects s through their auto-responder. These s contain mobile affiliate offers. So, instead of just having prospects go straight to the affiliate offer, they get them on an list and send the recommendations for other apps and so on. The idea that they had at first was to collect the s of users before they go to the CPA offer without lowering their conversion rates. Typically, adding another step into an offer will cause less people to finish the process of signing up and accepting an offer. However, they ended up finding a way to not lose out on customers just because it was a little more difficult to sign up. Now, they have plenty of people on their list that they can market to over and over again, and they still can get the sales they need through the affiliate offers. Jordon and his team had a tool made that helped them not lose out on conversions. The way it works is that when a person clicks on a link within one of Jordon s profiles, the mail app on the

17 user s phone will actually opens up so that all of the fields on the page that they come to are automatically field, and all the user has to do is click one time to submit their information. After that, they are directed to the affiliate offer. This is the quickest way that Jordon and his team have found for the user to submit their information. If you look closely at the picture above, you can see that the data in this message is sent directly to GetResponse. So, when they tap Send, they are automatically added to the list in Jordon and his team s auto-responder. How cool is that? Not only are they building up their Instagram accounts, which are incredible assets as well, but they are building lists at the same time. The best part is that the majority of this is happening in a completely automated fashion. You need to set things up in your business for the long term because nothing online last very long. That s why it s so important that you build an list that you can fall back on if you ever need to. You always want to try to build your assets up online, and your own list is one of the most dependable assets you can have.

18 Jordon and his team have thousands of affiliate offers that they can choose from, and they often split test them. They don t just split test to compare different offers; they split test a lot of different things. Above, you can see the results they got when they split test their results when using their tool and not using it. As you can see, they got the same number of clicks with or without the too. They did get 56 conversions without using the tool and only 45 with the tool. Their conversion rate using the tool was a little lower when they used the tool and so were their earnings. This didn t lower the earnings and conversion rates enough to constitute not using a tool and not building their list. In fact, they expected it to be lower, but they wanted to minimize the effect as much as possible. Again, the lifetime value of having a list is going to make up for this. They now have a list of people that they can continually market to, and they have the security of falling back on that list if anything ever happens to where their online business becomes nonoperational. Jordon and his team have captured 42 s with this account. He has been ing them affiliate offers, and through that, they have estimated this total to actually be closer to $300. That s off of backend affiliate offer conversions. Again, you don t have to pay for the traffic that you re using to get these addresses. In actuality, you re getting paid to build a free list.

19 As a super-affiliate Jordon has learned not to let himself get caught-up in daily stats. You can go crazy that way. There s fluctuations all of the time when you look at online stats, so you always want to look at 90-day stats or yearly stats. Without the tool, Jordon calculates that the team is making $37,405 per year in profits from this one account. With the tool, they are making $106, in pure profit. These calculations are shown in the screenshot below. Do you see how much of a difference a little tweak like this can make? Let s say that this was your vacation money. You can take a lot nicer of a vacation on $106,700 than you can $37,400. As an affiliate, you should always want to innovate and make changes like this. It can really make a world of difference for you to do so.

20 Duplicate the Method Earlier in the training, Jordon s live demo was mentioned. During his presentation, he posted an image with his affiliate link and left the stats alone for approximately 15 minutes. Throughout this short time period, Jordon s post got 1,790 clicks out of the 20,000 people following this account. He also got 284 conversions, and the revenue was $ Again, this is just from one account. You have been shown every step, and you have everything that you need to duplicate Jordon s method.
