1 Product Discontinuance Notification Dear Valued Customer, January 26, 2009 Today we are taking actions to align our product strategy and cost structure with the current wireless market. While we are outperforming our peer group, we are in no way immune from this unprecedented economic downturn. Although these changes are difficult, they are absolutely necessary in this environment. An increased focus on our areas of strength and critical examination of low performing investments is required, particularly in times of economic uncertainty and weak demand. After a detailed internal review Skyworks has determined that it is exiting the BAW filter business, effective immediately. We regret any negative effects on our valued customers, and will endeavor to provide strong support as our customers implement alternative procurement programs and issue last time buys for production released devices. Skyworks BAW filter initiative was pursued aggressively and at significant expense. Despite best efforts and compelling solutions, the demand profile and competing technology landscape is such that a viable business model could not be achieved in the foreseeable future. Every effort will be made to support our customers during this transition and we appreciate your understanding on this difficult, but necessary decision. This letter serves as formal notification that Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is discontinuing the production of the following products. Our intent is to support these products for a limited time in order to allow for future planning by all of our customers, therefore, we will offer last time buy opportunities to support your needs.

2 With this notification Skyworks extends the opportunity of a last/lifetime buy for the following products: SKY SKY33100 SKY33107 SKY33108 SKY33114 SKY33115 SKY33116 Last time buy Conditions: Date for last order acceptance: February 28 th 2009 Factory orders will not be accepted after this date. Date for last Skyworks shipments: June 28 th, This is the final ship date. All new orders for this product will be subject to a minimum buy quantity of 10,000 pcs unless order request can be filled with existing inventory, and will be non-cancelable and non-returnable. While we regret any inconvenience this announcement may cause, we are eager to supply your future product requirements with our world-class quality product lines. We request that you review the attached Product Discontinuation Notification Customer Acknowledgement Form and return a signed acknowledgement through the normal sales channels or the nearest Skyworks Solutions, Inc. If we have not received a returned acknowledgement form on or before the date for last order acceptance as specified in the last time buy conditions herein, we will conclude that the acknowledgement has been received and approved.
