1 Spotlight on R13 (update 18A) LOYALTY CLOUD TASNIA KHAN, Product Strategist Oracle Script 1 Hi, I m Tasnia Khan, Product Strategist for Oracle Loyalty Cloud, and today I m excited to spend a few minutes highlighting some of the new functionality available with our latest Loyalty Cloud release in 18A. 2 We have new features to introduce in Promotions, Data Export, Batch Engine, Membership, and finally, Tiers and Analytics. 3 So let s jump in with Promotions. 4
2 Specifically with Promotion Enrollments. Oracle Loyalty Cloud allows Loyalty Programs to setup promotions that are targeted for specific audiences where the audience is required to enroll in the promotion for it to be applied. This helps Loyalty Programs measure the effectiveness of the promotions from conversions in incremental sales or changes in member behavior, leaving out any coincidental promotion criteria fulfillment. 5 Members can enroll into any enrollable promotion to get the additional benefits in that promotion. Members can be added at any point of time. From these examples, you can see that Loyalty Program managers can review the promotions in which the member is enrolled and add new promotions or review members from existing enrolled promotions. 6 7 In addition, loyalty promotions can track different products and quantities within a single order and reward members on completing specified product or quantity combinations. 8
3 We have also expanded our capabilities with Loyalty Data Export. 9 This is important in ensuring that customers have all the data they need in one place to accurately target and engage with members. Using the file based data export, customers can export member, transaction, program, and promotion data from Loyalty Cloud and import it into other systems. 10 We ve also made enhancements in the Loyalty Batch Engine. 11 Oracle Loyalty Cloud enables organizations to expedite rewards and recognition of customers by processing loyalty transactions and tiers. Customers can load millions of records at one time, and using the Batch Engine, large amounts of data can be processed so that members can see point accruals and tier upgrades in a timely fashion. 12
4 The Loyalty Batch Engine also allows the system to reconcile expired points so that the customer can always see the most accurate point balance. 13 Membership in Loyalty Programs is integral to making sure a Loyalty Program is successful. 14 The new Membership Cards feature enables organizations to view and create new membership cards for members. The Loyalty Manager or a Customer Service representative can view relevant member information on a Member s Card and also create Cards for new members. In addition, members can seamlessly transfer points to their friends and family. 15 A couple other highlights from our previous release are updates to Tiers and Analytics. 16
5 You can configure Loyalty tiers to have an end date according to various tier models, and also process member tiers to evaluate whether they need to be upgraded to the next tier, retained in the same tier, or downgraded to the lower tier on the tier end date. 17 This lets you clearly communicate to members the target and date for achieving a higher tier, resulting in increased customer engagement. Oracle Loyalty Cloud introduced two tier models in the previous release: the Anniversary Model and the Fixed Date Model. 18 Within Analytics, the release also introduced Loyalty Infolets, which allow you to display the total number of active members, total membership, or total liability, for example, as well as Loyalty Reports and Loyalty Subject Areas, which can all be accessed by Loyalty Marketing Managers and Loyalty Administrators
