Staining of the contact sheet was assessed using the ISO 105-A03 grayscale (GS) with GS 5 denoting no migration and steps 1 to 5 being subdivided. Light fastness (PVC-p) Light fastness was determined using xenon lamp exposure tests in accordance with the equivalent test methods ISO or ISO 105-B02. The samples were assessed against the 1 8 Blue Wool Scale as described in ISO 105-B02 with Blue Wool 8 denoting the highest light fastness. Exposure was carried out at 600 kj/m 2 in accordance with ASTM SAE J2412 (previously ASTM SAE J1885). Color changes were assessed using the ISO 105-A02 grayscale (GS) with GS 5 denoting no change and GS 1 denoting the lowest hot light fastness. resistance* (PVC-p) resistance was determined using xenon light exposure tests in accordance with the equivalent test methods ASTM G155, ISO , or the internal test method WOM 119/50. The PVC-p samples were exposed for up to 5,000 hours. Color changes were assessed using the ISO 105-A02 grayscale (GS) with GS 5 denoting no change and GS 1 denoting the lowest weather resistance. Key portfolio Micranyl Q Microlith KP The Micranyl Q range is based on organic and inorganic pigments dispersed in a phthalate-free, vinyl carrier system. Micranyl products are specifically recommended for mass coloration of flexible and semi-rigid polyvinyl chloride films and may also be used for PVC extrusion and injection-molding applications. Due to their conformity to anti-fogging requirements, Micranyl Q products are suitable for automotive applications. The Microlith KP range consists of specially prepared pigment preparations, mainly based on high-performance organic pigments as well as titanium dioxide and carbon black at a concentration of between 40% and 70%. These pigments are finely pre-dispersed in a vinyl copolymer resin, which leads to greatly enhanced coloristic properties. Therefore, Microlith KP products can be used in all applications that require utmost pigment dispersion levels, extreme transparency, and dichroism-free colorations, such as stretched calendared rigid PVC film, lamination and decoration films, blown rigid PVC film and bottles. 7
