5 NEBOCHIPS Important characteristics and main applications The use of Nebochips gives following advantages: Optimal dispersion of pigments, maximum colour strength Easy processing, cost saving, dust free production with almost no loss of raw material High transparency with certain pigments High covering capacity with certain pigments Small stock requirement for expensive pigments Standard available Nebochips types: Nebochips NCA C - NC alcohol soluble with ATBC as plasticizer Main applications: Flexo- and rotogravure inks for: - pre-treated polyethylene - pre-treated polypropylene - pre-treated cellophane - pre-treated aluminium - paper Nebochips NCE C - NC ester soluble with ATBC as plasticizer Main applications: - furniture lacquers and lacquers for other wooden substrates - 2 component hydroxy acrylic paints - car repair lacquers - industrial lacquers - leather coatings Nebochips ACW Acrylic water based Main applications: Water based wood stains. Water based flexo- and rotogravure inks for: - pre-treated aluminium - pre-treated cellophane - pre-treated polypropylene - paper Nebochips CAB Cellulose Butyrate Acetate Main applications: - furniture lacquers - 2 component hydroxy acrylic paints - car repair lacquers - industrial lacquers - printing inks Nebochips VIN - Vinyl Chloride Vinyl Acetate Main applications: Flexo-, rotogravure- and silkscreen printing inks for: - pre-treated polyethylene - pre-treated polypropylene - pre-treated cellophane - pre-treated aluminium - paper - soft and hard PVC - nylon Processing: Dissolving of the chips in a lacquer or in a solvent mixture can be easily executed in a mixing vessel by means of a mixer or dissolver. Safety measures: Keep packing closed and store in a dry, cool place between 10 o C and 40 o C. The Nebochips NC preparations should be kept away from open fire. 5
