Environmentalism: Terminology A social movement dedicated to protecting the natural world and people from undesirable changes brought about by human actions.
Terminology Environmental Science: The study of how the natural world works, how our environment affects us, and how we affect our environment.
Natural Resources: Terminology Materials and energy sources found in nature that humans need in order to survive. INSERT PICTURE HERE
Terminology Renewable Resources: Natural resources that are naturally replenished, or renewed, over short periods of time.
Terminology Nonrenewable Resources: Natural resources that are naturally replenished much slower than we use them up. Once depleted they are gone forever.
Sustainable: Terminology If a resource can be used at the same rate for the foreseeable future and not be depleted.
