Technical Sessions: These sessions were handled by industry experts who explained about the technical and soft skills required to become job ready Participants of the NSDC sponsored training programmes, ni-msme sponsored training programmes and VTP trainees. Jayaprakash Managing Director, K-Soft Systems Ltd., Coimbatore 10. Outcome 1. It is a successful experiment initiated by ni-msme, Hyderabad and implemented by CED (Tamil Nadu), Madurai. 2. As many as 300 youth submitted their profiles for employment. Most of the NSDC trainees were interested in self employment. 3. As many as 20 business and commercial organizations participated in the event. 4. A lesson was learnt through this exercise: The experiment may be replicated on a bigger scale as a mega talent event with the direct participation of Ministry of MSME, Government of India and that will motivate the industry and trade associations, such as, CII, TANSTIA, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other trade bodies to participate in the event. In such events, we can provide participation to the final year engineering, arts & science and polytechnic students. Four such events may be held in Tamil Nadu in 4 centres, i.e., Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Trichy every year. The other partner institutions also expressed the same view.
