21 Implementation Documentation Deliverables Project Deliverables Project Charter Project Work Plan The purpose of this Project Charter is to define the scope and objectives of the project and to define the approach to project management and quality control that will be applied to the Oracle Fusion Applications Implementation Project Detailed Project Plan in MS-Projects clearly depicting the Phases, Deliverables and Timelines Application Configuration/ Setup Document Document detailing the Configurations to be done/ done in Production Environment Test Scripts User Manual Document detailing the step by step for Testing the Business process by Key Users Document with relevant screen snapshots for executing the day to day task by End users 21

22 Key Assumptions The standard business flows and functionality will serve as the base for the implementation. Oracle s OUM for Cloud Implementation Approach will be used for the implementation A small Project team is formed and empowered to make decisions from Client Side. The implementation is based on the Cloud deployment model, hosted at Oracle In the Cloud deployment model, two project environments are available: - A test environment - A production environment No Customization is performed. Configuration within the standard system is performed Single Sign On set-up is not included. Organizational Change Management will be Client s responsibility All the sessions will be conducted at one centralized location. 22

23 Project Assumptions Hardware and Software Project Approach Project Team Others The implementation is based on the SaaS deployment model, hosted at Oracle. In SaaS deployment model, two project environments are available: a Test and a Production environment Application bug fixing is the responsibility of Oracle Support and are not included in the project scope or estimates. Upgrade of Fusion Application during project is out of the scope. Configuration within the standard system is performed. Extensions and Customizations are out of scope All Prototype, Configure activities and workshops are executed on the same environment (Test environment) Establish VPN connections for consultants and Project team to work remotely Oracle s Unified Method [OUM] Cloud Implementation Approach will be used for the implementation The project execution will be done using an onsite-offshore model All documentation, training and workshops are provided in English A timeline of weeks is assumed from the time the system is provisioned A small and tight project organization is established Project workshops are held in the same venue and Workshop venues meet the technical requirements for connecting to the SaaS project environments All key users of client would be available at common location for all project execution activities including Project Workshops, Key User, Training and Testing Key Users have thorough knowledge of the current business processes that are being followed by Client, and available for project discussion at least for 3 to 4 hours a day Key User is the single point of contact for consultants for any information or data pertaining to the Business Area Key User would be the single point of contact for End-users regarding the Knowledge Transfer after post implementation Support Organization change Management and end user training will be Client s responsibility Extracting, Cleansing and Mapping of Data is the responsibility of the Client Providing the Master and Transaction Data in the Oracle specified Format is responsibility of Client Oracle Standard Job Roles, Duty Roles will be provided and used for Implementation and definition of additional Roles is out of scope (Please refer to User Management ) 23

26 Project Resources & their Roles Project Director: Being a member of the steering committee, higher management personnel will be responsible in decision making and issue resolutions where the involvement of steering committee is required. Project Manager: A highly experienced resource of who will be responsible for the project execution, monitoring and management. Being onsite he will be responsible to meet timeliness agreed in the project plan and the quality of the deliverables. He will work closely with the Client project manager to meet a common goal of timely completion of the project with maximum user satisfaction. Onsite Consultant/s: Onsite key resources who will be responsible for the project execution including conducting workshops, configurations, trainings, validations, Go-live and support.
