1 FACT SHEET CPC CERTIFICATE III IN WALL AND CEILING LINING This program covers building construction theory and practices related to low rise buildings. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to meet the technical qualifications for the qualification of Wall and Ceiling Lining. Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work (ASCC 2007) is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement. However, completion of Year 12 English and Mathematics is recommended. Enrolments are taken on an ongoing basis. NOTE: Keystone Training delivers this qualification by Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or Gap Training - NOT FULL TRAINING. The candidate requires a minimum of 3 to 4 years experience within this trade. (Please enquire for verification). To enrol in this mode of delivery and assessment you MUST be currently working in the building and construction industry performing construction type work with a minimum of 3 to 4 years current experience. NOTE: Practical Training consists of On the Job gap training and therefore applicants who wish to train with Keystone Training MUST have access to all physical resources. To enrol in this qualification please contact Keystone Training. Prior to enrolment a copy of the Student Handbook is available via download or via contacting our office. Applicants may receive acknowledgment of their knowledge and experiences through RPL. Evidence for RPL may include: work experience life experiences (including voluntary work and leisure pursuits) previous study e.g. qualifications, industry training professional development programs or units The matrix below is a guide for previously gained units of competency in CPC Keystone Training supports many learning needs.
