3 Dear Trader Earlier this year the organizing committee of the Third International Congress of the SAAO wrote to you inviting your participation in the meeting, scheduled to take place in Midrand 31 May 2 June We have recently completed the budget for the congress and present you with this prospectus for your consideration. This meeting promises to be the highlight of the 2018 calendar, and aims to be the premier dental implant congress in South Africa. We are pleased to announce that the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) have confirmed their continued support of the SAAO as part of their global outreach strategy and will sponsor part of the program with top international speakers in a branded AO symposium. The theme of the congress will be Challenges in Implant Dentistry. The focus will be on the current challenges we face in Implantology practice. The aim of this meeting is to attract approximately 300 delegates from South Africa and other African countries, as well as from overseas. The target audience will be general practitioners, dental specialists, academics and related professionals involved in Implantology. For the first time the SAAO will also extend invitations to the dental students currently completing their clinical training at the Universities of WITS, UP, UWC and MEDUNSA. This will expose our future clinicians to implant dentistry and give the traders opportunity to interact with the next generation. You as dental implant manufacturers and distributors, and associated members of the trade, showed wonderful support for both our previous congresses, and we would like to invite you to be involved with the 2018 Congress as well. We are aware that many companies are now finalizing their budgets for the 2018 fiscal year. With this letter the SAAO committee implores you to consider this event in your budget, particularly if you intend to invite an international speaker, or if you wish your company to be one of the Platinum, Gold or Silver Gold or Silver Sponsors of the meeting.

4 The Congress, commencing on Thursday 31 May 2018, will follow a similar format to the 2014 and 2016 meetings. In addition to the main program we plan to run breakaway groups to optimize participant contact with sponsored speakers. It will commence with a Traders Day of workshops and small sessions that offer traders the opportunity to demonstrate new products and techniques. These activities will make use of invited speakers in hands-on workshops or table discussions and demonstrations. These presentations and breakaway groups can be purely market-related and fully branded. A roster will be drawn up for four venues, and delegates will be able to choose which venue and topic they wish to attend. Depending on the response and demand, more venues can be added. Attendance for the Traders day is free for delegates, and the day will conclude with a welcome cocktail function. All traders who exhibit at the congress are encouraged to participate in the Traders Day programme. The plenary sessions will take place on Friday 1 June and Saturday 2 June Please consider if there are speakers that you would specifically like to invite to address the Congress. We aim to attract speakers who can present new ideas as well as share their experiences in managing difficulties associated with implant dentistry. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES 1. Platinum sponsor: Reserve price ZAR 125,000 (One opportunity) Platinum stand area, 5 stands (3 x 3 meter each) at the most preferred position in the exhibition area, your logo on the name tag, lanyard and congress bag, as well as in the active areas (maximum four). Your company logo or advert will also be displayed on the main lecture screen as part of a rolling slide

5 presentation during the changeover times between lectures, tea breaks and lunch times. The Platinum Sponsor will have their logo/ advert displayed the most times during this presentation. A further opportunity may be a lucky draw announcement and presentation by your CEO/MD from the main podium with the opportunity to address the audience at a peak time slot for a few short words. Complementary inclusions with the Platinum sponsorship: The congress bag will be sourced and supplied by the organizing committee. This bag will have the congress logo embroidered on it. The costs of the Platinum sponsor s logo on the bag, and the lanyards with logo will be borne by the sponsor. Value ZAR 40,000. Full page full colour advertisement on the inside front cover of the official digital format programme. Value: ZAR 15,500. Insert in the congress bag, Value: ZAR 5,500. Company logo on the sponsors page on the official printed programme. 6 tickets to the gala dinner. Priority placement in the traders day programme in the largest venue with most exposure. Company name/logo and hyperlink on the SAAO website sponsors page. Company logo in the top position on the official sponsors banner displayed in prominent areas in the congress venue.

6 2. Gold sponsor: ZAR 84,000 (three opportunities available) Gold Stand area, 4 stands (3 x 3 meter each) with choice of position after the platinum sponsor. Your logo may be displayed in active areas outside of their stalls. (maximum two). Your company logo or advert will also be displayed on the main lecture screen as part of a rolling slide presentation during the changeover times between lectures, tea breaks and lunch time. The Gold Sponsors will have their advert/ logo displayed less frequently than the Platinum Sponsor, but more than the Silver Sponsor. Complementary inclusions with the Gold Sponsorship: Full page full colour advertisement in the official digital format programme. Value: ZAR 8,500. Insert in the congress bag: Value: ZAR 5,500. Company logo on the sponsors page on the official printed programme. 4 tickets to the gala dinner. Second priority placement in the traders day programme. Company name/logo and hyperlink on the SAAO website sponsors page. Company logo in the second position on the official sponsors banner displayed in prominent areas in the congress venue. 3. Silver sponsor: ZAR 63,000 (Three or more opportunities available) Silver Stand area, 3 stands (3 x 3 meter each) with choice of position after platinum and gold sponsors. Your logo may be displayed in an active area outside of your stand (maximum one). Your company logo or advert will also be displayed on the main lecture screen as part of a rolling slide presentation during the changeover times between lectures, tea breaks and lunch times, but less frequently than the Gold Sponsor. Complementary inclusions with the Silver Sponsorship: Half page full colour advertisement in the official digital format programme. Value: ZAR 4,500. Insert in the congress bag Value: ZAR 5,500.

Exhibitor stand: Single: ZAR 22,000 Double: ZAR 32,000 Stand sizes: 3 x 3 meter (single), 3 x 6 meter (double), stand areas in the exhibition venue. Complementary inclusions with the exhibitor stands: Participation in the traders day programme. Company name/logo and hyperlink on the SAAO website sponsors page. Company logo on the official sponsors banner displayed in prominent areas in the congress venue. Sponsorship costs will exclude any costs associated with the setup of custommade exhibition stands, but will include the cost of a basic shell structure, one plug point, two spot lights and a fascia name. 5. Welcome cocktail event on Friday evening: ZAR 73,500 A welcome cocktail event will be held at Vodaworld in the Trade exhibition area. Delegates will be treated to drinks and variety of snacks, as well as entertainment. This event will provide a perfect opportunity to set the tone for the days ahead and to maximize branding and networking opportunities. Benefit: Branding of the event. The event will be marketed as Hosted by Opportunity to address to the delegates at the event.

9 6. Gala Dinner: ZAR 125,000 The Gala dinner will be a unique social experience. The visiting delegations from the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration will be invited, as well as the visiting speakers and congress delegates, providing a unique opportunity for networking with a wide cross-section of the implant community. Benefit: Branding of the event The event will be marketed as Hosted by Opportunity to give an address to the delegates at the dinner. 7. Notepads with company logo: ZAR 26,000 This represents a marketing opportunity to provide delegates with companybranded notebooks/notepads, which will be included in the congress bag. The company logo can be displayed on the pages of the notebook/ notepad, and the front cover can be a fullpage full-colour advert. 8. Advertisements in the official digital programme: Inside back cover: ZAR 12,500 Outside back cover: ZAR 18,500 Full page: ZAR 8,500 Half page: ZAR 4,500 Note: Advertisers need to supply their own artwork. The design and layout of the official programme will be undertaken by the appointed graphic designer, and approved by the organizing committee. All advertisements will be in full colour.

Branded speaker thank you gifts: ZAR 2,500 x number of speakers The speakers will be presented with a gift package, which can include branded items from a company for a sponsorship value of ZAR 2,625 x the number of speakers. 10. Speaker ready room: ZAR 21,000 Speakers will have access to a specially provided speaker room in which to check and rehearse their presentations. A small lounge will be set up in one area of the speaker room, which could be used for meeting with these leading specialists in implantology during the congress. Benefits: Branding opportunity in the speaker room. Company logo and welcome on the landing page of the PC(s) in the room. 11. Memory sticks (8 Gig): ZAR 25,000 Each delegate will be given a memory stick that will be included in the congress bag. These drives can be branded with your company name, and represent an extremely useful item that will be used by the delegates during, but especially after the congress. The organizing committee will request that speakers provide their references, and possibly also their lecture outlines to be included on the drive. Benefit: The sponsor will be able to place company and product information on the drive, for example: company profile, product catalogues, brochures and instructional video/photos. 12. Congress mobile application: ZAR 30,000 Your company can be the mobile Event App Supporter, and will be acknowledged as such in the official programme, on the rolling presentation during the changeover period in the plenary sessions and on the sponsors banner. The application will contain all the relevant event information, including the programme, speakers CVs, and will be available as a free download to all delegates and interested parties leading up to the congress to create awareness of the event, and to provide event and exhibition updates linked to the social media platforms.

11 Benefit: Recognition as the Event App Supporter. Company logo on the App. Branding of the App and hyperlink to your company website. 14. Congress Runners ZAR 52,500 Every congress needs people to assist in the registration desks, ushering, assisting speakers and delegates with information, assisting the PCO with everything from receiving deliveries to making sure that lost property is returned to their owners. The event helpers will be identified with shirts embroidered with the congress logo, as well as the brand logo of the sponsor. 15. Registration ZAR 21,000 The first point of contact at the congress will be the registration desk, where delegates will receive their bags, name tags, certificates etc. This opportunity will work extremely well if taken in combination with the Congress runners (see 14 above). Benefit: Branding of the registration area. Sponsor s logo on the name tag. This is one of the most visible branding opportunities of the congress, and one not to be missed.

12 NOTES All opportunities are on a first come, first served basis, and therefore we urge you to let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in specific items. The organizing committee will gladly discuss your specific requirements and prepare a package that will position your company as a significant role player in the implant market. With the exception of items 1 to 4, the sponsorship opportunities may be shared by the exhibitors, subject to the approval of the organizing committee. The committee would like to express its gratitude to you in showing an interest in exhibiting at the event, and possibly sponsoring a speaker for the conference. We would like to urge you to cite topics in which the speaker would feel comfortable lecturing (30 or 60 minutes). The scientific committee will select the most appropriate lecture(s) (i.e., best aligns with our theme and program) and get back to you immediately on which lecture(s) are included. It is preferred that the lectures be prepared in 16:9 formats for the Breakaway sessions on Trader s day and 3:1 can be accommodated for the main plenary. The rolling slide presentation during the change-over times, tea and lunch- breaks will also be shown on these monitors to make the exhibition area as user friendly as possible.
