TM Achievements & situation to date
The reason we Exist TM Our Mission Global Bugs' Mission is to produce exclusive entomology products, cause no unnecessary harm to the planet, to use our business to inspire and implement solutions to the global environmental challenges and to support the global need for high-volume low-cost alternative proteins. Global Bugs' Business Model is to manufacture whole crickets, cricket powder, snacks and protein bars, at our own production facilities in Thailand. Global Bugs' Business Concept is to produce and sell ecofriendly entomology products that help consumers and industries worldwide lessen their impact on the planet. Global Bugs Uniqueness is to control the whole value chain from organic farming of cricket feed, farming of house crickets and black soldier flies, production and processing to sales and distribution. By doing this, we make sure that our crickets will get the correct nutrition content, based on the demand from our customers.
Management of Global Bugs TM Broad and diversified knowledge in Business development Diversified knowledge in insects farming, supply chain and production Connecting Asia and Europe with knowledge, know how and products Kanitsanan Thanthitiwat Rickard Engberg Thanaphum Muang-Ieam Peter Arndt Stefan Järlhem Chief Executive Officer Chief Innovation Officer Chief Entomology Officer Chairman of the board Chief Marketing Officer Chief Supply Chain Officer Thai national Swedish national Thai national Swedish national Swedish national Thai / Swedish / English Swedish / English Thai / English / German Swedish / English Swedish / English
TM Basic Facts - Farming Thailand In Thailand there Are around 20,000 farms. Many, if not all, use chicken feed for the crickets The Feed is normally based on fish- and soy meal No or less resources for R&D No control over the supply chain, regarding water, feed and treatment No control regarding regulations, standards and EU / USA demands No scalable production facilities and high volume possibility Farming are old school and not suitable for EU / USA demands
TM Basic Facts R&D EntoPark Small Scale EntoPark with R&D and lab Only company within insects, approved by the Board Of Investment (BOI) 8 years of company tax exemption Constructed for FDA approval and EU / USA demands for food production Secured supply chain, regarding water, feed and treatment Secured for batch production, traceability and high volume Industrialization and vertical farming adapted Farming both Crickets and BSF flies for low cost high volume
EntoPark - Wholesale TM EntoPark, one of the world's first automated insect farms for breeding BSF and House Crickets. EntoPark, will support all legal production demands for the European and USA standards. The EntoPark is a solution to the global search for alternative and sustainable proteins. EntoPark, will focus on R&D and the right balance in feed for the best protein quality The EntoPark will at full capacity produce a minimum of 100,000 tons of whole crickets per annum, which easily can be increased using vertical farming.
ECO - Project TM Food Chain Joint Venture together with a ECO-onion farmer in Sweden First out in Sweden, feeding BSF maggots to fish Feeding fishes the right natural proteins Our goal is to design and sell container-based BSF larvae composting plants, recycle protein in the production chain, and use the protein for animal feed.
Proothie - Retail TM Proothie.com is Global Bugs marketplace for electronic retailing for sales of our consumer products through the Internet. Proothie.com showcases our premium products as whole crickets, cricket powder and different types of snacks such as our crispy crickets offered in diverse flavours.
