2 Clck in r ut Timesheet will pen n the Clck tab. 1. Select assignment t clck in r ut f, (if nly ne assignment, it s already selected). Only assignments that require a clck actin will shw up in the assignment drp dwn. 2. Click n either Clck In r Clck Out buttn, whichever is apprpriate. Submit a Missed Punch Dcument If yu missed a recent clck actin, a Missed Punch dcument allws yu t enter a missed clck punch. Fr example, clck in if clck in was missed, r clck ut if clck ut was missed. Yu can submit ne Missed Punch dcument per time blck, but it cannt be mre than 24-hurs in the past. (A clck-in and a clck-ut create a time blck.) 1. On Clck Tab, click the Missed Punch buttn t pen the Missed Punch dcument. 2. Enter date and time f missed actin. Yur Missed Clck Actin is already selected. 3. If apprpriate, add a Nte t explain why yu missed clcking. 4. Click Submit. 5. After dcument submits, click Clse t return t Clck tab. 6. 3 Fix a Time Blck Recrded n the Wrng Jb Assignment If yu clck-in n the wrng jb assignment, cntinue wrking and clck ut at the end f yur wrk perid. Yu can then update the recrded time blck t the crrect jb assignment. 1. G t the Time Detail tab and find the time blck yu need t crrect. 2. Click n the underlined assignment name. 3. Add Time Blck dialg bx pens. In the Assignment drpdwn, select the crrect assignment. 4. Click Update. 5. Verify that time blcks are crrect in the summary sectin. View Summary f Hurs Wrked On the Time Detail tab there is a sectin shwing a summary f hurs recrded fr that timesheet. Displays hurs entered by Assignment, day and by Earn Cde. View Leave Accruals If yur psitin earns benefit time (PTO, vacatin, sick), pen the Leave Accrual t review yur leave balances as f the previus payrll.

Yu will receive a warning n yur timesheet if yu attempt t use mre than yur available balance.

Imprtant nte: Hurs Adjust clumn will ppulate if yu accrue mre hurs than yu are allwed t take in a year.

4 View Leave Accruals If yur psitin earns benefit time (PTO, vacatin, sick), pen the Leave Accrual t review yur leave balances as f the previus payrll. Leave balances are displayed in the fllwing frmat: Balances are brught in frm the HRMS Payrll System, s they may nt reflect yur current ttals. Yu will receive a warning n yur timesheet if yu attempt t use mre than yur available balance. Check with yur supervisr r departmental payrll prcessr if yu have any questins abut yur accrual balances r hw yu can use them. It als ppulates, and may shw negative hurs, when yu transfer hurs frm ne leave bank t anther (PTO t SCK, SCK t VAC), r take sick, vacatin r PTO hurs cded as FMLA (SFL, PFL, VFL, etc.). Add Leave Hurs 1. If yur psitin earns benefit time (PTO, vacatin, sick), g t Time Detail tab t enter thse hurs. 2. On the pay perid calendar, click n a day r select the date range when yu plan t take r have taken leave. 3. Add Time Blcks dialg bx pens: Verify Date Range is crrect and adjust if necessary. Select the apprpriate Assignment frm the drp dwn bx. If yu nly have ne assignment, yu will nt have the ptin t select anther. Select the Earn Cde fr the leave yu are taking (SCK, VAC, PTO, etc.). Enter the number f hurs per day f leave yu intend t take. Leave Apply time t each day in range bx checked 4. Click Add buttn t cmplete leave hurs entry. In the Attachment field just belw the Nte textbx, click Brwse... 2. If yu are using Internet Explrer, this pens the 'Chse File t Uplad' dialg bx.

5 Add Timesheet Ntes 1. Click n the Nte sectin t expand it. 2. In the Nte textbx that appears, type a nte and click Save. Once a nte has been added, the timesheet displays that nte and prvides a blank textbx where yu can enter and save a new nte. Yu can als add an attachment, such as a Wrd, Excel r file t a nte: 1. In the Attachment field just belw the Nte textbx, click Brwse If yu are using Internet Explrer, this pens the 'Chse File t Uplad' dialg bx. If yu are using Firefx, this pens the File Uplad dialg bx. If yu are using Chrme, this pens the Open dialg bx. 3. Select the name f a file t uplad and click Open. 4. Verify the Attachment field shws the selected file is ready t uplad, then click Save. The title f the file yu attached will appear next t a dwnlad link. Other Kuali Time users, such as yur timesheet apprvers, can click the dwnlad link t view the attached file. Get Help and Reprt Prblems Click the Help tab n yur timesheet t view hw-t vides and nline dcumentatin. Cntact yur Supervisr first if yu have questins, can t lg in, r need crrectins t yur timesheet.
