2 Your Instructor Peter Kohler CFAM is an internationally recognised asset management thought leader with a proven ability to deliver innovative solutions. Recognised as a Certified Fellow in Asset Management (CFAM), Peter has a keen appreciation for the strategic function provided by asset management. He believes that asset management must integrate technical and financial decision-making to deliver business outcomes. This belief is supported by a strong understanding of the technical and financial standards and tool sets used within asset management. Peter is a mechanical engineer and spent nearly 24 years in the Royal Australian Navy. During this time, he championed the emerging discipline of asset management. He founded asset management consultancy Capability Partners in 1996, and also co-founded The Asset Management College in Australia to deliver asset management learning and education. Peter conducts asset management system reviews both nationally and internationally, and has done so for many years. 3 Course Description The Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) Training Course is designed to familiarise participants with what constitutes an ISO55001 compliant asset managed environment, and to support their knowledge and comprehension to undertake the CAMA exam. A Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) has the minimum knowledge in asset management required by the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) to audit or assess an Asset Management system to the requirements of ISO This training programme explores asset management practice within the context of an ISO55001 Asset Management System and how, together, these drive and support an organisation s ability to meet its objectives and deliver value to both customers and stakeholders.
