15 STUDYING IN DENMARK On Wednesday you will get information about studying in Denmark (Introduction to Academic Study Culture) Informal tone - no Professor/Mr/Ms necessary Rigid time (it is on time) except for the academic quarter Students are expected to demonstrate critical and independent thinking Discussions with professors as well as fellow students are encouraged But no talking amongst yourselves Fewer classes/ assignments -> more self study/study groups. If you are struggling to adapt to the Danish study style contact your BSS International Coordinator or BSS Student Counsellors' Office Visit for general information
16 INTRODUCTION WEEK The program contains both activities arranged by the AU International Centre(IC) and by us here at Aarhus BSS International. Activities at Campus Fuglesangs Allé, IC, Uni Park, Botanical Garden and day with mentors All activities from Monday August 28 Friday September 1 (except social events in the evening) are mandatory. Wednesday: good idea to bring snacks. It will be a long day The Western Party is supported by Aarhus BSS International
