Sealed Quotations shall be submitted till 15:00 hrs on and will be opened on the same day at 15:30 hrs The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. SECTION I : INSTRUCTION TO QUOTATIONERS. SITE. 1. Before submitting the Quotation, bidder must visit the site of work at his own expenses and familiarize himself with all the site conditions, approaches, availability of materials, camping facilities etc., which may affect the work. For this visit the Bidder may contact the Engineer-in-charge. 2. All necessary access roads will have to be made and maintained by the contractor at his cost. The other agencies employed by the Employer may use the access roads and the contractor shall not claim any amount or object to such use of the access roads. QUOTATIONS. 1. QUOTATIONS shall be submitted in the prescribed format and manner complete in all respects. 2. Each page of the document is required to be signed by the BIDDER. Any QUOTATION with any of the document not so signed shall be rejected. No alterations, additions or erasures in the QUOTATION NOTICE are permitted and will cause such QUOTATION liable to rejection. 3. GST registration NO., if applicable must be submitted along with Quotation 4. Copy of Pan Card must be submitted along with Quotation 5. THE QUOTATION form must be filled in English and all entries must be made by hand and written in ink. Erasures and alterations made, if any, while filling the QUOTATION must be initialed. Rates shall be written both in figures and words. When there is a difference between the rates in figures and words, the rate, which corresponds to the amount worked out by the QUOTATIONER shall be taken as correct.

2 6. In case the QUOTATION is submitted by any proprietary concern, it shall be signed by proprietor only. In case of a Registered Company, Partnership firm, the seal of the Company/Firm shall be affixed over the signature of one or more directors/ partners as may be provided in the Articles of Association or Deed of Partnership. 7. If it is found that two or more persons who are connected with one another either financially or as principal and agent or master and servant have tendered under different names for the same contract, without disclosing their connections, then such tenders will be rejected. TIME OF COMPLETION. The time shall be considered to be the essence of the contract. The contractor shall adhere to the time/construction schedule furnished by the Employer. PRICES. The rates quoted by the contractor shall be firm throughout the period of construction. No variation of any kind shall be entertained, whether statutory or on account of variation in the quantities of the various items of work. Rates quoted should be inclusive of all taxes (sales /contract/excise etc.) VALIDITY. The QUOTATION submitted shall be kept valid for acceptance for a period of three month from the due date for receipt of QUOTATION. SECTION : II Terms & Conditions 1. The contract is Item rate contract. The contractor has to quote item rate to attend all the works as per the specification after inspecting the site and understanding the nature of work. 2. The time limit for the completion of work is 15 days, which shall be reckoned from 3 rd day of date of issue of work order to commence the work. If the work is not completed within the stipulated period the work order will be cancelled and the work will be undertaken by other means. 3. The work should be executed in accordance with specifications as per the direction and subject to the approval in all respect of the Engineer-in-charge. 4. The quantities of items are subject to variation according to actual execution. 5. The Contractor at his own cost shall arrange all the materials required for the work. 6. The contractor shall be responsible for the safe custody and damage of materials if any issued to him. 7. No Tools & Plants will be issued by the Corporation to the Contractor. 8. The water required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 9. High standard of workmanship should be maintained and the contractor should ensure that only skilled and experienced trade men are employed.

The contractor shall execute the whole and every part of the work in the most substantial and workman like manner and both as regards and otherwise in every respect in strict accordance with the specifications. 11. During the execution of work if the contractor or his working people do any damages to the Corporation s (ANIIDCO) property or if any damages shall happen to the work, the contractor should rectify and make the same good at his own expenses. 12. No compensation will be paid to the contractor for any kind of time or materials waste involved by way of additions, alternations, and replacement to cover the required specification/quality of works. 13. The site should be cleared by the contractor immediately after completion of work. 14. Applicable TDS,EPF will be deducted as per rules % Building Cess shall be recovered from Contractor s bill and will be remitted to A & N Administration 16. Labour clearance Certificate should be produced by the contractor from the Labour Welfare Office before payment in case of complaint. 17. Security will be deducted from the bill and the same will be released only after three months. 18. During the security period if any defects/ faults noticed due to inferior quality of work/ poor workmanship or due to the usage of substandard materials, it should be rectified by the contractor. 19. The payment will be made on submission of tax invoice as first and final bill basis and no part payment will be entertained during the execution of work. 20. All safety precautions should be taken by the contractor and any loss or damage to men and materials during execution of work should be borne by the contractor only. 21. After satisfactory completion of work the contractor shall submit the pre- receipted bill in duplicate for making payment by the Corporation. 22. The Contractor has to submit the bill with full details of measurement for release of payment. 23.
