As a synthetic resin floors specialist, we provide a large selection of self-smoothing floors, resin screed flooring, pebble floors and floor sealers for industry, trade and public buildings, offices and private residences. Arturo is produced in the Netherlands and is a brand of Uzin Utz AG, a leading international floor systems provider with expertise spanning over 100 years. 4 Convincing Reasons Layer per Layer No floor is like another: The environment, the position within the building and the load form an almost unique demand profile from production to storage and traffic areas up to recreation rooms and public areas. Almost no other floor system can be adapted to individual requirements as easily as flooring made of polyurethane and epoxy resin. Firstly, the base coat creates a monolithic connection to the ground. The next coating gives the floor the requested properties, while the sealing coat provides it with a pleasant look and additional protection. Arturo floor systems can be applied without seams. The result is a smooth, easy-to-clean surface of excellent durability. A further advantage the coating can be used to create a groove where the floor and the wall connect, which allows for a seamless transition. Properties such as a high chemical, mechanical or thermal durability, slip-resistant safety, UVstability or footfall sound insulation can be adapted to the requirements of the building as well as special requirements such as electrical conductivity. 7 Economical and Sustainable Did you know that about 80% of the costs of flooring are not incurred by actually laying it, but through cleaning and maintenance? In order to calculate the flooring costs, the entire life cycle must be considered. This includes the investment, maintenance and repair costs for the entire life span. 9 HEAVY-DUTY FLOOR SYSTEMS Whether it s a high rack or a transport vehicle industry floors which are exposed to heavy mechanical loads require durable flooring. The Arturo multi-layered systems are proven all-rounders, because by modulating the layer structure, surface finish and design, they can be adapted to the specific loads of almost any field of industry. In case of heavy mechanical loads, systems based on epoxy resin such as the Arturo EP2500 self-smoothing coating are especially suitable. In production or installation areas where the load on the floor is only light to medium heavy, polyurethane self-smoothing floors like Arturo PU2060 are often the more efficient solution. Thanks to their high elasticity and flexible structure, PU floors are very crack-bridging and sound-absorbing. Both varieties have a high chemical stability. They are available in many colours and are especially suitable for colour guiding systems or for creating defined production areas. 13 CHEMICAL-RESISTANT FLOOR SYSTEMS If substances hazardous to water like acids, alkalis or other chemicals are used in industry, the requirements for the flooring are increased. They have to be chemical-resistant and impermeable to liquids. The epoxy resin self-smoothing Arturo EP2070 WHG Protect and EP2470 WHG Protect Conductive floor are crack-bridging, highly chemical-resistant, and upon request, electronically conductive. Especially designed for sites used for storing, filling and handling and those used for production, treatment and usage, these floor systems ensure that no hazardous substances can get into the ground water. Both floor systems were certified in accordance with the requirements of the German Water Resources Act (WHG 63) and are licensed by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt). 17 CONDUCTIVE FLOOR SYSTEMS Where electrical charges pose a risk to personnel and technology, a conductive floor is mandatory. This applies to technical and server rooms and laboratories as well as where powders, gasses, and solvents are produced bakeries, milling businesses or in the metal processing industry.
