3 Mechanical Room The mechanical room will be located on the basement floor where there is enough space to have all the equipment in order to fix problems throughout the building structure. The mechanical room is also located right next to the elevator shaft which gives it easy access to the elevator.

20 Aluminum Curtain walls Structural glazing Glass Fin Steel Connections. Fin supported glass walls offer the most transparency in single or double glazed walls as the support structure holding up the large panels of glass is very minimal. Stella fins are generally made of glass (for maximum transparency) but we could also create fins made of aluminum or steel upon request. Credit: Daria

21 Curtain wall Advantages One major advantage of aluminium curtain walls is that it allows filtration of natural light into the building. Additionally, it prevents air and moisture from entering into the structure. They can also act as a fire stop, preventing the spread of fire from floor to floor of the building structure. The walls help in the transfer of horizontal wind loads that are incidental upon it to the main building structure through the connections at floors of the building. It is also designed to being air resistant and allowing water infiltration, sway induction by wind and forces acting against the building. Credit: Daria

22 Precast concrete wall solid panel Solid wall panel simply refers to walls being made of solid concrete as opposed to including integral insulation. These wall systems require some form of insulation and an interior wall/finishing system to complete the building enclosures. Typical widths: 4 to 15 ft. 26 Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) (also fibre-reinforced polymer) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibres. The fibres are usually glass, carbon, aramid, or basalt. Rarely, other fibres such as paper or wood or asbestos have been used. The polymer is usually an epoxy, vinylester or polyesterthermosetting plastic; phenol formaldehyde resins are still in use.
