What are you using on your smartphone that you rely on every day? We would like to hear about it at this year s workshop. In trade for a 5-minute description, you will receive a free workshop registration and a $75 Home Depot or Cabela s gift card... and no PowerPoint is needed. All we ask is for you to share an app or software or hardware that you have found to work well, make your job easier and is available at a reasonable price. Something that you rely on to get your job done more efficiently and effectively. It doesn t have to be cutting edge, just a daily workhorse that makes your life easier on the job. It may be common to you, but unknown to other foresters. Each presenter will take just 5 minutes to describe the software/technology, tell the audience what you use it for, why it can help with professional duties and where to get it. 5 Meeting Location The workshop will be held at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver, WA. The Heathman is located at 7801 NE Greenwood Dr. Take SR-500 East off I-5 in Vancouver. Exit at NE Thurston Way and go north to NE Parkway DR. Turn left on Parkway and the Lodge is on the left. The Heathman can be viewed at: Lodging No block of rooms has been reserved for this meeting. Lodging is available by calling the Heathman at Registration fee The registration fee is $225 if registering by September 27 or $265 if registering after September 27. The registration fee includes a book of speaker materials, lunch and refreshments. Payment information Checks should be made payable to Western Forestry and Conservation Association. Tax id # Registration is available at Cancellations Cancellations received on or before September 27 are subject to a 15% service charge. Cancellations received after that time will be charged the entire registration fee, but substitutions are always welcome. Pesticide Recertification and Society of American Foresters CFE credits Oregon attendees will receive 3 pesticide recertification credits and credits have been requested from Washington.
